YouTube implemented a new (and very dumb) feature that hides videos & stops you from receiving notifications if you have its "restricted mode" turned on (which may be on by default for some)

On the left is my channel as it normally stands, and on the right is what the channel looks like restricted mode

To turn this feature off click your profile picture, click settings, then scroll down to about the middle of the list, click restricted mode off.
