The Strela Cosmonaut Leonov pays tribute to the Soviet chronograph worn by Alexei Leonov during the world's first spacewalk on March 18, 1965. A true witness to the golden age of space exploration, the Strela has become an icon of Soviet watchmaking.

Faithful to the spirit of the original model, this reissue preserves the charm of vintage chronographs with its hand-wound mechanical movement, bicompax dial, and timeless design. It embodies the meeting of space exploration history and traditional watchmaking craftsmanship, making the Strela far more than just a watch—it is a genuine piece of history to wear on the wrist.

Sturmanskie 3133
youtube.com/shorts/waL2Ne5Ukf...

There are military watches, and there are watches that must be earned.

The Sturmanskie 3133 belongs to the latter.

During the final decades of the Soviet Union, it was never intended for the general public. It was reserved for those who had earned their wings: pilots, navigators, and aircrew personnel of the Soviet Air Force. Its issuance marked the culmination of years of training, discipline, and dedication—a tangible symbol of belonging to a select fraternity of men entrusted with the skies.

Its appearance was restrained, almost austere. No unnecessary ornament, no concession to fashion. Every line on the dial served a purpose. Every function answered a practical need. Beneath this utilitarian exterior, however, lay the quiet dignity of an instrument designed for those whose profession demanded precision and responsibility.

Powered by the Poljot 3133 chronograph movement, it measured more than elapsed time. It accompanied training sorties, navigation exercises, and operational flights across the vast expanses of the Soviet Union. It shared the daily life of aircrews, from briefing rooms to remote airfields, from pre-flight preparations to long hours above cloud and horizon.

To receive a Sturmanskie 3133 was not merely to acquire a watch. It was to carry a mark of achievement. On the wrist of a newly qualified officer, it stood as a silent acknowledgment of skill mastered, trust earned, and duty accepted. It represented a bond between the institution and the individual—between the aircraft, the mission, and the man.

The Sturmanskie 3133 was never designed to impress. It was designed to serve. Yet in doing so, it became something greater: a watch of wings, of merit, and of the enduring spirit of Soviet military aviation.
