This was taken from the Kagga Kamma Remote Observatory with the SQA85 and QHY268C. It's a small section of a larger 21-panel mosaic that I did in collaboration with my friends Dave and Chris. I recommend checking out the better resolution image on Astrobin: app.astrobin.com/i/pdxs0b

This is actually a mosaic itself, sections of 5 different panels totaling about 30 hours of data (if my math is correct).

Before the star party at the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics last night. The menu was: Moon, Venus, M13, M27, M51, M57.

The dome behind me uses the Great Refractor from 1847. It has a 16" Aperture. The dome next to me is a 9" refractor 100ish years ago.

I volunteer here whenever I can during their public astronomy nights (usually once a month).
