I am a veterinarian specializing in rescuing all abandoned animals…❤️

Ali Rescue Pets

❤️ For years, this sweet little pony faithfully pulled a buggy carrying children to school, church, and town.
At 13 years old, she’s described as gentle, calm, and incredibly well-broke to drive. She may not be the fastest anymore, but she still has a kind heart and so much love left to give.
The people around her said the kids simply moved on to a bigger, faster horse… and now this beautiful little mare has been left behind.
She’s in good condition, good-minded, and clearly spent her life serving people without complaint. Horses and ponies like her dedicate their whole lives to humans, only to become disposable when they’re no longer “useful enough.”
But she deserves so much more than that.
She deserves soft pasture.
She deserves gentle hands.
She deserves a future where she is loved for who she is — not how fast she can go.
Please help us give this sweet pony the second chance she deserves before it’s too late. ❤️🐴

🐴 At just 5 years old, this handsome young gelding still has his whole life ahead of him.
He came in with a group of driving horses and has spent most of his life pulling a buggy and working the roads. Despite everything, he remains calm, gentle, and incredibly good-minded.
The people handling him describe him as “pretty broke,” easy-going, and kind — the type of horse who wants to do right.
Yes, he has a few old scars and signs of wear from life and work, but nothing that takes away from the sweet soul standing in front of us. He still travels well, carries himself proudly, and has so much potential left.
Horses like him spend their lives serving humans, only to end up forgotten when they’re no longer convenient. But this beautiful boy deserves more than uncertainty and fear.
He deserves safety.
He deserves kindness.
He deserves the chance to finally be someone’s forever horse. ❤️
Please help us give this gentle young gelding the second chance he deserves before it’s too late. 🐴

Ali Rescue Pets

To everyone who has supported Ali Rescue Pets, and to those who have questions,

We want to speak to you honestly.

Over the past several months, many people have wondered why you weren't seeing me in rescue videos like before. Some people assumed the worst. Others began sharing rumors that Ali Rescue Pets was no longer legitimate or that our fundraising wasn't real.

We understand why those questions came up.

The truth is much simpler.

I stepped away for a period of time because I was dealing with serious health issues. My focus had to be on treatment and recovery. Thankfully, my health is improving, and I am slowly returning to the work that means everything to me.

But while I was away, the rescue never stopped.

My teammate, Tahlia, continued the mission by sharing rescue videos and fundraising efforts. She is not a stranger pretending to represent us. She is part of our rescue team, working on the ground in the United States to save horses that are facing slaughter. Every horse she has fought for is part of the same mission we have always shared: giving these animals a second chance at life.

We know some people were confused because they saw a different face. We don't blame anyone for asking questions. In today's world, people should be careful before donating to any organization.

What we ask is this:

Please judge us by our actions, not by rumors.

Every rescue we share requires transportation, veterinary care, quarantine, feed, rehabilitation, and months of follow-up. Those horses are real. Their recoveries are real. The work behind every rescue is real.

Rumors spread in minutes.

Trust is built over time.

We are committed to earning that trust every single day through transparency, updates, and showing you exactly where your support goes.

If you have ever doubted us, we invite you to ask questions. We will answer them openly. If you want proof of a rescue, ask us. If you want updates on a horse you helped save, ask us. We believe honesty is the foundation of every rescue organization.

The hardest part is that these rumors have consequences.

When donations disappear, the horses don't stop needing help.

They still need food.

They still need medical care.

They still need someone willing to fight for them.

Our mission has never changed.

The faces you see may sometimes change, but the purpose never has.

Whether it is me, Tahlia, or another trusted member of our team, we are all working toward the same goal: saving horses that have no one else.

To everyone who has continued believing in us through this difficult season, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Your trust has kept hope alive.

And to those who are just getting to know us, we hope you will watch our work, ask questions, follow our journey, and decide for yourself based on what we do—not on what others say.

Every horse deserves a chance.

Together, we can keep giving them one.

— The Ali Rescue Pets Team

🐴 This big, honest gelding spent his life doing exactly what people asked of him.
At 16 years old, he’s still strong, well-built, and willing to work. He’s been used as a driving horse for years, traveling roads calmly and faithfully beside a buggy.
Even now, he stands patiently, listens quietly, and responds like the dependable horse he has always been. The people handling him describe him as clean-legged, good-footed, and still full of life and usefulness.
But horses like him are so often discarded the moment they become inconvenient.
After giving his strength, his trust, and years of labor, he deserves more than uncertainty and fear. He deserves soft pasture, kind hands, and a future where he’s valued for more than the work he can provide.
There is still so much good left in this horse. ❤️
Please help us give this gentle giant the second chance he deserves. Every donation helps provide transport, feed, care, and safety for horses just like him before it’s too late. 🐴

❤️ These beautiful Arabian horses came in together… and they’ve stayed side by side through all of it.
Among them is an 18-year-old mare who appears to have spent much of her life being used for breeding. Now, after years of giving everything she had, she stands quietly beside the only family she knows.
They may not come with registration papers or fancy titles, but you can still see their beauty, grace, and gentle spirits.
One of the mares still rides a little, though she’s mostly been left out in pasture in recent years. Together, they’ve weathered life side by side — and now they face an uncertain future together too.
Horses like these are so easy for the world to overlook once they’re older or no longer profitable. But they deserve safety, peace, and kindness just as much as any young horse with papers and prestige.
We want to help keep this family safe and together, but we cannot do it without support.
Please help us give these beautiful Arabians the second chance they deserve before it’s too late. ❤️🐴

🐴❤️ Meet this quiet little donkey family: Jack, Jenny, and their gentle companion standing beside them.
They’re healthy, calm, easy-going, and have clearly spent their lives trusting humans. But now, instead of safety and stability, their future is uncertain.
Jack is only 5 years old. Jenny is just 4. The older jenny in the middle appears heavily bred and exhausted. Despite everything, they remain sweet, quiet, and full of kindness.
Animals like these are often overlooked because they’re “just donkeys.” But they feel fear. They feel stress. And they deserve safety just as much as any horse fighting for a second chance.
The thought of this little family being separated or discarded is heartbreaking.
We want to help keep them safe, together, and on the path toward a better future — but we cannot do it alone. Every donation helps cover transport, feed, care, and the cost of giving these gentle souls the life they deserve.

🐴 Meet this beautiful 18-year-old mare who has spent her entire life working without complaint.
She pulled wagons, worked farm machinery, and gave everything she had for the people who depended on her. Even now, after years of labor, she remains quiet, gentle, and kind-hearted.
You can see it in the way she stands — calm, patient, and still willing to trust.
She’s not broken.
She’s not “used up.”
She simply needs care, groceries, warmth, and someone willing to see her value beyond the years she’s already given away.
The people describing her said she still has good feet, good legs, and plenty of life left in her. With proper care and love, this sweet mare could still have many peaceful years ahead.
Horses like her spend their whole lives serving humans and asking for very little in return. Please help us make sure her story doesn’t end in neglect or fear.
Every donation helps give hardworking horses like this beautiful girl the retirement and kindness they have earned. ❤️🐴

Ali Rescue Pets

Just when we were celebrating Lady Gray welcoming her beautiful colt into the world, everything changed.

Well ALI RESCUE PETS family,

Meet Dobby, and not in the way I had planned to introduce the little guy.

He nursed after birth, but it quickly became clear he wasn’t getting what his tiny body needed. Before long, he began showing signs of severe abdominal pain. Our team acted immediately, but despite everything we could do here, he wasn’t responding the way we hoped.

Dobby and Lady Gray were rushed to Weatherford Vet Hospital, where the team immediately began ultrasounds, bloodwork, and intensive care. Right now, we’re taking this one minute at a time and hoping this little guy decides to keep fighting.

If you’ve followed Mary Kate and baby Tiana’s story, you know how quickly newborn foals can take a turn—and how incredible they can be when given the chance.

Please keep Dobby in your thoughts tonight. Every share, every comment, and every bit of support means more than you know as we do everything we can for this tiny life.

We’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more!

Ali Rescue Pets

A few weeks ago, I told you that in all my years of animal rescue, I had never seen a case quite like Susie’s.
Từ
First, thank you. Every single person who shared her story, left a comment, made a donation, or simply followed her journey is the reason we were able to get her to safety and into the hands of our veterinary team.

When Susie arrived at the clinic, our veterinarians immediately began trying to understand what had happened to her. Even they were shocked by what they discovered.

As they examined Susie, they found multiple masses throughout the affected area—not only externally, but internally as well. After sedating her and performing additional diagnostic tests, they removed a sample from one of the masses to determine exactly what we were facing.

The diagnosis was squamous cell carcinoma.

Cancer.

Extensive cancer.

The most heartbreaking part isn’t the diagnosis itself. The heartbreaking part is knowing this didn’t happen overnight.

This wasn’t weeks.

This wasn’t months.

This was YEARS.

Years of discomfort.

Years of pain.

Years of a progressive disease.

Years in which this sweet mare desperately needed someone to notice, to care, and to intervene.

People often speak passionately about the visible problems horses face, and those conversations are incredibly important. But we also need to remember horses like Susie—the ones quietly standing in a pasture, paddock, or backyard while an untreated condition slowly worsens year after year, without intervention and without anyone asking the difficult questions.

Those horses matter too.

Susie deserved relief long before Ali Rescue Pets met her.

What brings us peace is knowing that although we couldn’t change her past, we were able to change her final chapter.

She experienced love.

A warm bath.

A soft, comfortable stall.

Gentle hands.

Compassion.

She was treated like her life truly mattered.

Rest peacefully, sweet Susie.

You deserved so much better than what happened to you, and we hope that, even if only for a short time, you felt just how deeply you were loved and cherished by the entire Ali Rescue Pets family. ❤️

GRIT 3 WEEK UPDATE:

When we rescued Grit at the beginning of June, he was standing in the direct ship pen with both of his hind legs so severely injured that the tissue and bone was completely exposed. I couldn’t even safely get close enough to fully assess the damage. All I knew was that he needed help immediately.

Since arriving at the hospital, he’s been receiving daily wound care, bandage changes, medications, and around-the-clock monitoring. Because of how extensive his injuries were, the veterinary team waited until they felt his legs had healed enough before sedating him for repeat X-rays.

Well, we finally got those answers.

The best news we could have hoped for… there are no fractures, no breaks, and no signs of bone infection. His bones are healthy.

What we’re seeing is the result of a devastating traumatic injury that someone chose not to treat.

YOU gave him a chance.

Every bandage change.

Every treatment.

Every hospital stay.

Every step forward has happened because thousands of people decided his life mattered.

We still have a road ahead of us, but today is a really, really good day for Mr Grit!

Thank you for believing in Grit when he needed it most. We’ll continue sharing updates as he heals :)

You made this possible!
