If there’s ever a video to share, PLEASE, I am begging you to share this one. Yesterday ripped my heart into pieces. I was sick. I felt like I got there too late. I couldn’t even try to help.
Today through Sunday we can literally keep them from this fate. THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE. I KNOW it’s hard to watch. I KNOW it makes you sick. I sit and face it so I can have these videos, to share their stories, so their lives weren’t in vain. So YOU can feel passionate about SHOWING and SPREADING AWARENESS so that others can be saved and change can eventually happen.
This is REAL. This is what happens. It’s sickening. We have the ability to help keep this from happening we have just got to come TOGETHER in order to do it.
From now through Sunday you can help me do that. Whether it’s $5, $10, sharing, emailing the video, it all will go towards savings them from a horrible fate, human and Mexico.
This is urgent and I need your help. This little Arabian pony, who I’ve named Atlas, is tagged to ship. He is SO sweet. He was clearly someone’s family pony, kids pony, lesson pony — he is SO sweet. All he wants is scratches and nuzzles my pockets for treats. He just follows me around, it’s heart breaking.
I’d love to get him safe and a real second chance to find his forever home — NEVER sold to end up in this situation. It’s so wrong and so messed up.
There’s always someone who needs help. There’s always a lot of someone’s that need help. The hardest part is having to say “I’m sorry, we couldn’t”. My goal for this auction weekend is not to have to say that. It’s to say “we got you, you’re going to be okay now”. Such powerful words in these situations for them. I can’t even imagine being on their end nor would I ever want to be.
It’s crazy the power humanity has when WE come together. So many amazing things happen. My goal isn’t to have to do this every month. Truthfully it kills me. The amount of mental and emotional therapy I need at this point is ridiculous. I live in a constant state of defense and walls up.
My goal is to break the system. I can’t change it, it would have already been done BUT we can break it. We can make it so that rescues become the intakes for the horses. Not the lower end auctions. Not the demand for horse meat in Mexico. In order to do that though we need your help. Rescues need your help and support.
We have enough right now to help 2 horses when I get there today. I fully believe that if we all work together and SHARE the posts. SHARE the reels. We will make a massive difference this weekend in so many lives. How incredible is that?! To know that you’re quite literally changing the trajectory of someone’s life for the better. It’s amazing.

Buddy update! ❤️ We have a great update on Buddy…he’s officially been adopted!! 🎉
We rescued Buddy at the November 2025 auction. He was brought to the auction as an orphan 🥺at only 3-4 months old and was the cutest and sweetest little guy with so much personality…we knew we had to help him.
He has been living at our Texas facility and was adopted by a local family whose miniature donkey’s companion died. It’s such a perfect home for Buddy and he will now have a bff for life and the most wonderful family to spoil him.
Thank you for supporting us at the November auction so we could give Buddy this happy ending! ❤️⚔️

We have some behind the scenes photos from daily happenings at the barn this week! Our staff and volunteers have been busy bees making sure everyone is happy and healthy, working on projects around the property and making sure the pens are clean and water bins scrubbed out. We also had some new faces to welcome from the January auction which is always fun! You’ll also see our amazing friend Curtis doing Bemer therapy with some of the horses. This involves a special blanket that applies electromagnetic therapy to help boost their circulation, enhance cellular oxygen and accelerates recovery. We hope you enjoy looking through these!
