More importantly, with this video, I finally finish something I started.

I know I’ve often been accused of beginning things and not always seeing them through. That chapter ends here. I hope I’ve earned at least one point for completion.

Looking ahead, next year will be about RELATIONSHIPS—
chart matching, male–female dynamics, Venus–Mars energy, and how to build more harmonious, wiser relationships.

Honestly, I feel this is deeply needed right now.

Along with this, I also plan to reignite my life-coaching work.

This year has been personally very difficult for me. It tested me in many ways. But looking at my dashas, I genuinely hope the coming year will be better—and that I’ll be able to share some truly life-changing, deeper knowledge through both platforms:
Honest Astrologer and Honest Life Coach.

There’s a lot coming.

It is a mixed placement where Mars concentrates its energies on the ninth house of Dharma, Philosophy, and Father.

Basically if the energy is channeled in a good manner it can lead to great spiritual and intellectual results.

But taken too far, this energy can create religious zealots to the point where they are willing to even violently fight for their beliefs.

After all, he is the Holy Warrior.

YOUR SITE TURNS 9

Guys, your site honestastrologer.com turns nine years this year. When I launched it in 2016, it was on a very auspicious day — Navami and Dussehra falling on the same day. Being a devotee of Ma and Sai Baba, it was an extremely special and auspicious day for me.


I felt blessed, but at the same time, I was nervous. I had already resigned from my job, and though I had some plans, but had never thought about becoming a full-time astrologer. Destiny had other plans.


As luck would have it, in 2016 I started this as a hobby and a charity. I thank my friends and spiritual guide who encouraged me to expand this endeavour, and take it up as full-time work.

Some clients started to come from some social media platforms, and I could see that I was on the right track. Then, the Gods blessed me one night.


I woke up early in the morning and wrote an article on Ketu Mahadasha, which made me who I am today. Even today it is right there on the top of Google first page, getting me my daily bread. Later, my article on Rahu Mahadasha also went viral. It took me two more years to write the Shani Mahadasha article, and as you know, Shani is never easy. But it was worth the wait, and by the time it was on Google first page, I had a waiting list of clients.


In my Shukra dasha sandhi, I went through a difficult time when I became a victim of an IT scam. My website, something that was my bread and butter, collapsed, just disappeared. I was shocked and inconsolable. But like most things that happened in dasha sandhi, there was something good that came out of it. I had to revive up my long dormant youtube channel.


Thankfully, YouTube helped me grow — from just “friends and family” subscribers to more than 20,000 subscribers in three years. I am truly grateful to you all for helping me reach this point.


Looking back, it feels like a dream. From a collapsing corporate career to doing what I love for a living. Ketu Mahadasha period give me a new birth, a new identity. That’s how G Vijay Kumar was born — my chosen name, a tribute to my father — and today I proudly answer to it.



I feel overwhelmed by the love, support, and blessings I have received, the wonderful friendships I’ve formed, and the beautiful clientele I’ve been fortunate to serve. Every single day, I thank Baba and Ma for guiding me on this path.


Honest Astrologer is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I hope I continue to receive your love and support.



The way ahead: As always I give you HONEST well thought out research based content. And will continue to do so. Here are some things on their way:

Upcoming Lunar Eclipse is a tough one. I usually don't write about Transits but this is a special one.

I am always afraid of the full Moon (Amawas does not scare me), but full Moon + Rahu in the house of Shani, with Shani sitting next to it...that's a different story.

People in general but especially those born on a full moon or a Rahu + Moon combination need to be careful:

There can be the following issues:

a. Mood Swings

b. Headaches and lack of energy

c. Acidity and upset stomach.

d. Miscommunication and conflict esp in house of your Moon and Rahu.

e. Scary weird dreams

DON'T WORRY...THIS TOO SHALL PASS.

Here are a few remedies to do till September 9:


1. Do Moon Mantra "Om Som Somaya Namah" 1100 times

2. Rahu Mantra

2. Donate milk to orphanages

3. Visit Shiva and Kali temples

4. Go easy on food and drinks.

WHAT ABOUT ME: A new series about navigating MIDLIFE CRISIS from astrological and psychological point of view.

I had asked you guys to vote for the topic of interest. You voted for Midlife Crisis.

To be honest, as a man in his 40s, this topic was close to my heart, having gone through this transforming phase myself.

Midlife crisis in essence: IS A JOURNEY FROM SHANI MATURITY TO RAHU MATURITY...!

Just like Ketu Mahadasha, I wished someone would have told me about Midlife Crisis. But there were very few resources especially in Indian context.

I went through this and suffered through several turmoils, only to end it in a manner that gave me the "AHA" moment and i felt that now I could see the TRUTH of the world. I am not enlightened, but having gone through My Midlife Crisis, I can say that I am AWAKENED to the worldly truth.

My heart goes out to several of my brothers (men have it much worse), going through this period of utter chaos and feeling of being lost.

Millennials are hitting this period and they are a generation who has been through rapid transformation going from landline phone to AI. We had it bad in family, we had it good in first half of careers, but now the careers are being threatened, family life is not even close to what we imagined.

Is this what we made so many sacrifices for?

I worked hard hard my studies, my career, my parents, my spouse, my kids....BUT WHAT ABOUT ME?

Keep going fighters, there is light at end end, and yours truly would help you navigate this to the best of his ability.

Let's get a little young, a little selfish and a lot wiser.

Let me tell you a story....Once upon a time, a corporate slave decided he had had enough and put down his papers.

Looking for his passion, trying to find work that would fulfil him and bring some happiness, peace and of course some daily bread. After months of trying, he finally found modest success at something he loved but was discouraged to join since his childhood, astrology.



He was good at writing, and he wrote his heart out. He shared his learnings, his experience, and his heart and soul. His articles on his website went viral, and thanks to God and Google, he was popular.



He loved his small slow peaceful life, where he would roam around unshaven and unkempt, talking to clients, and visiting temples and secluded places. Full on Ketu bliss.



Then came the dreaded dasha sandhi and his website crashed and disappeared. He had to move in super urgency to his long dormant YouTube channel, which was dormant since last 5 years as he did not wish to show his face. “YouTube is not for me. I love my privacy.” He had proudly declared. But there was no other way to make a comeback.



A man with Venus + Ketu conjunction, dressing up for work was the last thing he wanted to do, and again he was terrible at it. Of course, he was even worse at facing the camera.

Nobody and most of all he would have thought that his channel would reach 20,000 subscribers, putting him in an elite group of creators.



Many videos later, he still remains a novice, a camera-shy awkward man. And he still regularly gets rebuked by his friends, family, and viewers for not making videos regularly.



This channel should not have grown the way it did.



I don’t make glamorous videos, I don’t make controversial predictions, I don’t do podcasts with big names, I don’t give magical remedies, I don’t even look like a traditional astrologer.



But still you guys all the love and support.



Thank you for making this camera-shy old man reach a significant milestone.



I promise that I would continue to bring you the wisdom of this divine science and try to add value to you, and make your lives better with practical insights.
