On the alien seabed

Two Echinovermis walk on the sand using their hydraulic-powered legs, in search of the green, bacterial, plant-like growths called Bacbulbs. Suddenly, one peculiar-looking Bacbulb reveals itself to be a Bacbutcher, an ambush predator that mimics the color and overall look of Bacbulbs. The Bacbutcher spears the unfortunate Echinovermis with its long, piercing rostrum, meanwhile its friend seems to pay no mind to his fellow Echinovermis getting its insides turned into a liquid slurry. A juvenile Leviathan Krilrath watches this drama unfold right infront of his 4 eyes, no malicious intent, just curiosity. His mother calls out to him from a distance, warning him not to stray too far, as despite his kind being the largest species on Planet Anelus, juveniles like him can be easy targets for the various megafaunal, oceanic predators.
