Woah! You guys took it seriously when I asked for your opinions on the last video. Absolutely smashed it thank you! 🙏🏼
It’s a shame most of you believe there’s no ‘peace and quiet’ in Vietnam. I’ve never had this opinion because I cycled a lot in my first year and came across many quiet roads and even areas.
They do exist, but like any city across the globe you have to compromise being in the centre of it!
I knew we were staying in the heart of the city but that’s what my partner wanted for our first year abroad.
The feel of Vietnam’s hustle and bustle and being a quick walk away from Pizza 4 P’s or a top massage haha!
We knew we would have some peace on our golf days, so it served us well for a year.
I always think in property, you should remember one rule: “there’s always something better”.
This has served me my entire life, and it served again.
I can’t wait to show you guys the big update and give you a different perspective.
P.S. I am SOOOOOO close to catching up with my backlogged videos, 4 more episodes and we are UP TO DATE BOYS and GIRLS! Whooohoooo!!
Eid Mubarak! See you in the next one ♥️👌🏾

It’s been a year since I started this channel.
53 videos, a lot of learning and many new friends later… I can hand on heart say, it is 100% worth the effort.
If you’re on the edge about starting a channel, just record and publish one.
The fear will dissipate, the tension eases and then excitement brews strong.
You have absolutely zero clue how many people you inspire or ignite along the way.
But, more importantly you open yourself to new perspectives of the people that comment from across the globe.
People you usually wouldn’t sit around a table with, and that widens your horizons.
On a more pressing note, It’s a really sad time in the world at the moment, a horrid cycle repeating itself. The country that claims to be the almighty protector of the world, once again proves to be the biggest threat. The biggest bully of them all.
The divide and hate that’s being propagated is why I implore you to travel.
To realise and embed the fact, we are ONE race.
No country superior than the other.
Each one of us should take action against injustice that occurs anywhere in the world.
It can happen in your back garden next.
Living in Vietnam has heightened the realisation of the long lasting consequences of conflict. Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam are still suffering from the years of torture the big bad bully inflicted upon these people.
Take care of each other, sign petitions, attend protests, share social media posts, educate your friends, donate money if you can and just spread the love.
We are one ♥️
See you soon - peace.

Guyssss, I saw the comments on yesterday’s video and thought I owe you an apology! I’m so sorry there was no drop this past fortnight.
I’ve been in Bangkok for a few weeks catching up with a good friend. We ate soooo much Thai food, had a blast, did a LOT of shopping and I had no time to edit!
Bangkok is bloody HUGE! I feel like I live in a village in comparison. But, I do love my little village of Da Nang.
Anyway, WE’RE back! Got 3 more videos with Pops to drop and a big life UPDATE that I’m excited to share with you all!!
Asia still feels like a dream. 😴
2026 has been a whirlwind and TET is coming up next week which is Vietnamese New Year so lots of parties and celebrations all around the country!!
Everyone is in HIGH spirits, which is a really nice start to the year actually.
Please check out the latest video, day 2 of our road trip from Da Nang to Hue! The imperial city is beautiful and the Emperor was a busy boy!

We DID IT Folks!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
We hit the first milestone of 10,000 subscribers ♥️
I adore this little community we’ve created over the past 10 months. We’ve gone back and forth over 47 videos. So many of you constantly engage and make this platform 1000 times more enjoyable and fun.
I’ve been BLOWN away by the uplifting, kind and warm comments on the latest videos. My dad thoroughly enjoyed filming and is such a good co host that I wish he had a permanent position on this channel!
Vietnam continues to blow me away. Mainly because most days I remain curious. I hope this approach is something you can adopt wherever you are in the world. You don’t have to be switched on all the time, but whenever you do feel like pushing the button, you can make the most ‘ordinary’ moments quite exquisite.
Updates: Vietnam has a huge badminton scene, I’m now officially a member at Ba Na Hills Golf Club!!! YIPEEEEEE.
The barber shops continue to amaze me, it’s like a whole thing here. My bread is getting soooo close to perfection and Korean BBQ is a game changer (I only discovered it this year). I can now run 8k in 55mins 😆 not quite quick enough for an Ironman though.

I’m sorry to be late on the next video!!!
Life has been hectic this past week.
Construction is a nightmareeeeeee here in Da Nang. Just BEWARE when you are booking accommodation or long term living.
There’s weeks when it’s great, and then there’s that one week where you wake up in a bad mood every day 😆
I’ve viewed SO many places lately, then I return home and think nah I don’t wanna move out.
Then construction hits loud the next day and I’m viewing places again 🤣
It’s a rollercoaster, but always feeling very grateful and blessed to be in such a position of freedom.
We did view a couple of absolute wordlieees.
On a positive note, I've been focusing more on golf lately, if you’re coming here to golf, rainy season is actually bliss, the weather is perfect!
See you soon in the next action packed video all about boosting confidence the untraditional way!
Oh and my partner broke 2 of his toes LOL
Love Sara :)

Vietnam has never felt more like home than the last 2 weeks.
Da Nang feels like a decent size city but also a little like a village at the same time. You see friends across town, you witness shops closing and new ones taking their place.
We’ve turned an empty floor in our building into a golf practice room (utilising space just like the Vietnamese do).
I now bake bread every week to have a fresh loaf for my eggs on toast.
Buying motorbikes, home furnishings and year long gym memberships do add to the permanency of a decision but it’s really the people that make a place feel like home.
And I mean all sorts of people, not just the new friends you make.
From your local bakery to your personal trainer.
They all add to a new environment feeling like your new home, and I’ve never felt more comfortable than the last few weeks.
Thank you Da Nang. It was the third country on this travel and a great first long stop.
This video is my new favourite 🤩

Super cool compilation video coming out tonight 6pm Indochina time! One of my absolute favourite videos so far!
Hope you all enjoy it.
See you at 6pm - I’m off to bake some more bread, (Vietnamese bread doesn’t do well in the toaster).

Another Episode dropping in a few hours!
It’s so easy to fall into the trap of being comfortable when you’re ‘travelling’.
But life isn’t about staying INSIDE of your comfort zone now is it?!
So this next episode is about pushing my limits, doing something WAY outside of my capabilities and maybe failing along the way. 🤣🫠😤
5pm Indochina time :)
