Let me take a moment to reintroduce myself.
Over the past 12 months, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with many new people here.
If we haven’t yet had a proper introduction—or if you’re curious about who I am and what Samurai Success is all about—this is for you.
My name is David C. Olcott, and I’m the founder of Samurai Success.
I grew up in the Florida Keys, where I spent more of my youth underwater than on land.
That early sense of depth and exploration has followed me throughout my life.
My career has taken me through politics, real estate, and the seminar and speaking industry before I founded Samurai Success more than 27 years ago. Since then, I’ve dedicated my life to one mission: helping business owners master both life and business.
Over the years, I sought out the greatest masters in the world. I studied, practiced, tested, and ultimately distilled their wisdom into what is now the Samurai Success coaching system and the best-selling book, Swords of Illumination.
Before I offered any of this to others, I tested it on myself. I used these principles to compete in championship-level ice hockey and ride stunt motorcycles, all with no prior experience.
Why? Because I needed to make sure it worked.
That’s also why you haven’t seen me much on social media until recently—I’ve been in the field, proving this system in real life.
Now, with my own experience and the success of over 450 business owners we’ve served, I can say this with confidence: it works. And the results it creates are nothing short of remarkable.
I’ve since been a guest on countless podcasts and radio shows, sharing this system and helping others create sustainable, repeatable success on their terms.
Today, Samurai Success offers two core services.
First is our executive and business coaching.
Our flexible coaching system integrates high-performance psychology, business process development, and financial analysis and strategy coaching into one streamlined experience.
It helps our clients make business easier, more enjoyable, and more profitable, with predictable results and real freedom.
Second is our Swords of Illumination coaching. This is where we go deeper. We cover the foundational principles of the universe in a structured program that culminates in a transformative experience at the I AM Studio.
This is where lasting subconscious reprogramming happens.
I live between Denver, Colorado and Corvallis, Oregon with my wife Nina and we have one son, Josh.
