2025 round up ⬇️

I started the year locked in — fully focused on my business and the person I was trying to become.

A few months in, distractions crept in. I lost focus, purpose, direction, and vision. Lack of action led to low self-belief — something that isn’t like me, but I’ll own it. My fault. Period.

Around halfway through the year, lying in bed at 9pm on a Saturday, I hit the f** it* button — in a good way.
I booked a marathon, HYROX, and a photoshoot all at once 😅

Stupid? Probably — especially with how close they were. But I knew I needed a challenge. Something uncomfortable. Something hard.

That’s how we grow.
I got into the best shape of my life.
From barely being able to walk to completing my first marathon.

I also completed a duo HYROX with a friend and client.
What’s mad? These were fitness goals I wrote down at the start of the year.

I had the privilege of bringing my brother to Portugal to watch his hero, Ronaldo, play. He’s supported me for a long time business-wise, and it meant a lot to give back. A huge achievement for me.

I also had my highest-earning month ever — by helping people step outside their comfort zones and get into the best mental and physical shape of their lives. That’s f***ing rewarding.

This isn’t a brag. There were plenty of downs too.
I had to get a second job to keep money coming in.
I lost my way with content and what to post.
I know I want to make a positive impact — I’m still figuring out how.

My ankle still limits me. For someone who loves football and competition, not being able to compete is frustrating — but you take the bad with the good.

That’s life. And without a little rain, what’s the point?

Struggle and adversity make the journey harder — but far more worth it.

Key lesson:
Failure is part of the process. It’s how we learn and grow.
Don’t be afraid to fail. Be afraid of not trying.

We reset.
We refocus.
And we go again 📈🤜🤛

If your planning on starting the gym in 2026

Or anything for that matter.

Start now.

start at age 20/30/40/50/60+

Start with no knowledge and work it out as you go

The barrier to entry is starting

You have to be willing to look like a foul in order to look like a grand master

Besides your goals should be way more important than the opinions of other who won’t even show up at your funeral

Period.

Just for context this is me in a hospital bed

Thinking I’d never walk again

Life is short one roll of the dice blink and you are gone

December gyms are normally dead now is a perfect time but the truth is there is no perfect time

A small leap today could be a giant leap tomorrow

You don’t have to be perfect or to have it all figured out if you fail who cares at least you had the balls to try unlike most

The price of progress is pain

Starts today.🤜🤛

I hope this message helps that one person who needs it today 🙏❤️

Our First HYROX Duo in Madrid! | Vlog + Race 🇪🇸🔥

Full video Live tomorrow 6PM-YouTube
@jackgrayfitness

In today’s video, I take you along for a special one — my first-ever HYROX duo with my client and good friend Brian… who had little to no training going into this! 😅

We flew out to Madrid for the event, soaked up the atmosphere, had plenty of laughs, and food 🍔 pushing ourselves through one of the toughest but most rewarding races we’ve ever done together .

This vlog captures the full journey — from travelling, behind-the-scenes moments, race-day nerves, and of course the chaos and craic of tackling HYROX as a team for the very first time.

If you enjoy fitness challenges, travel vlogs, or just watching two eejits struggle through functional fitness, this one’s for you. 😂💪

👉 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe if you want to see more challenges, training content, and adventures like this!

recently done a duo HYROX

Here is my honest thoughts

1. it’s a good excuses to travel
2. anyone can complete a duo HYROX with a small bit of training
3. Don’t book a hotel with a friend who talks in his sleep
4. It keeps you off the drink for a while
5. your consistency levels up because you’ve something to work towards
6. It’s a unique experience
7. doing a duo is a great way to keep yourself accountable

Overall highly recommend

Should we do a solo HYROX?

Steroids

That’s what some people said I was on 🤣🤣🤣

Witch I think is crazy for people to assume some would think that’s jealousy

Some would think I couldn’t do that so there is no way you done that without it

The truth…

No crisps sweets chocolate or takeaways

Accountability ✅
Veg ✅
fruit ✅
protein ✅
Ohh and coffee don’t forget✅

And the willpower to stick to the plan and not my mood when things got tough

It sounds easy… that’s because it is the concept is very easy it’s the ability to apply it witch isn’t

Saying no consistency for short term pain for long term gain

So no I wasn’t on steroids I was just obsessed

You CAN do it too with accountability and a plan and a bit of self belief you’d be surprised what you CAN accomplish

For now I’ll be enjoying the Christmas break and you should too but after why not set yourself a goal whatever that goal is for you

Again you CAN do it with the willpower self believe plan and accountability I talked about above 🫡🎅❤️

8 reasons why am competing in my first HYROX

Madrid 29th of November

1. competition

As a lot of yous know on a daily basis my ankle is sore somedays are better than others

Football is where I found my competition but I haven’t being able to play properly due to the above

I thrive with competition I HATE losing
(it could be a game of rock paper scissors I don’t care I hate losing ahaha)

HYROX gives me that competitiveness again

2. I want to test myself

I actually have no clue what to expect but I know it will be a challenge I get to overcome and a chance to see where am at and how I can improve

3. Travel
Whenever I was in hospital I missed out on a few holiday so I promised myself I’d travel more

4. something different
I’ve never done this before so why not give it a go I wouldn’t say it’s massively outside my comfort zone but it’s something different and what would life be like without trying and doing new things🤷‍♂️

5. Helps me stay on track
Whenever I have a goal or an event am so much more disciplined when it comes to diet and training so this keeps me in check on the build up to Christmas

6. No regrets
Again lying in hospital I said I was going to try tick as much things of as possible and this was one of those things

7. Documentation
Something to look back on as a memory whenever I am older

8. Learn
I wanted to learn and experience the journey so that if one of my clients wanted to do a HYROX I’d have a understanding on how I could help them on there journey

If you’d like to see the journey on how I get on drop me follow for more

As always

We reset we refocus and we go again💁‍♂️💅

Unpopular Opinion: The gym isn't just where you build muscle, its where you clear your mind.
its where stress dies and focus is born. where chaos turns into calm.
And when you miss a day? you feel off.
That's when you know it’s who you are.
