I have not found a single reason not to love Jesus.
I don't focus on the suffering I'm going through.
Instead, I focus on what it will make me become among the heroes of faith like Paul, in heaven.
It is impossible to be truly saved and never face opposition from the devil.
If you are going through battles, it is evidence that you belong to Christ.
The moment you are saved, your name is written in heaven and also in hell as they are assigned to look for you.
But there is a love that keeps you going through suffering while you continue loving Jesus.
Its called the suffering love, one that remains faithful even in pain.
Just like a woman who leaves her family and comfortable life to be with the man she loves.
She endures the pain of childbirth and afterward she still looks at the baby and asks, 'Does he look like his father?'
That is suffering love the kind of love that keeps loving despite the pain.

Unfortunately, that is the exact thing lacking in the church today.
Many people step out of sin and immediately go back to worshiping God without a second thought.
What they don't know is that every sin unrepented sinks your destiny. Sin is a sinker.
It kills your conscience which is the very police meant to guide our life.
2 Corinthians 7:10 - For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation... but the sorrow of the world produces death.
God can forgive any kind of sin provided you truly repent.

When God instructs you to do something, He empowers you.
Matthew 5:48 says, Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
When Jesus commands us to be GODLY and perfect it’s because He has already empowered us to do it.
God’s Word empowers us to be GODLY.
Here is the secret, claim His word over your righteousness.
2 Peter 1:2 says, Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,
Every time you receive the word of GOD, you receive grace. And grace is what empowers you.

Only righteousness can deliver you.
Proverbs 10:2 (b) says:
Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death.
Noah was a just man, perfect in his generation and he was delivered from the destruction and trouble of his time (Genesis 6:9).
It was because of righteousness that Noah was delivered.
Righteousness paid when he was in trouble.

The reason why Saul lost his kingdom is because the mercy of God were withdrawn and departed from him
II Samuel 7:15 says
But My mercy shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you.
Mercy show up the most when you are under attack.
2 Corinthians 4:1 says
Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
And
Romans 9:16 says
So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.
It is not about who tries harder rather about who receives mercy.
It is of God who shows mercy.
Mercy is what stands between you and the judgment you deserve.
