Welcome to Glenfalloch Garden Café & Restaurant – a tranquil retreat nestled within one of Dunedin’s most cherished historic gardens. Located on the scenic Otago Peninsula, just a 10-minute drive from the city.
Glenfalloch, meaning “hidden valley” in Gaelic, is a 30-acre woodland garden established in 1871 and preserved by the Otago Peninsula Trust since 1969. The garden features a rich tapestry of native and exotic flora, including a 1,000-year-old Matai tree, rhododendrons, azaleas, magnolias, and a diverse array of New Zealand natives.
Our Café & Restaurant, re-launched in October 2020, serves a variety of meals including brunch, lunch, and dinner, complemented by daily specials.
Glenfalloch is an ideal venue for special occasions, from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations. Our team is experienced in hosting weddings, milestone birthdays, conference dinners, and other celebratory events, providing comprehensive support to ensure your event is memorable.
