Something happened on my cruise that I didn’t expect…
I found a quiet spot in the back of the ship. Nobody around. Just me, my book, and the sound of the water.
I started reading one of my books out loud, not loudly, just enough to feel the weight of the words.
Then something happened.
One by one, strangers started coming over. Not to talk. Not to ask questions.They just… sat.Right beside me.Listening.Resting.Peeling off layers like they were home.
There were dozens of open chairs all around, but they gathered near me, a 59-year-old Guy, reading his own book in the dark.
And somehow… it felt like I was reading to family.
That’s when it hit me:
When you speak from your soul, people don’t just hear you.They feel you.
And maybe… that’s all people are really looking for.
