Permit yourself to suck. I used to be scared of failure and the ridicule that came with it.

These days, I embrace it as a sign that I'm on to something.

When you're building something worthwhile, failure is part of the process.

It's where the best lessons come from.

Never forget that.

I’m an introvert, especially around people I don’t know.

With friends and loved ones, I’m open enough, but in front of strangers?

No way.

If someone had told me last year that I’d be this vocal online, I would’ve laughed in their face.

But I’ve learned that to build an audience online, you need to speak up and give people a chance to get to know you.

So, despite how uncomfortable the thought made me, I decided to put a piece of myself out there.

To my surprise, making connections feels natural now. You never know what you’re capable of until you try.

Steven Kotler was right in his book The Art of Impossible: "The only real way to discover if you are capable of pulling off the impossible-whatever that is for you-is by attempting to pull off the impossible"
