Woo hoo.. RC TRUCKS @ LEYLAND is back after 4 months...
Firstly it was cancelled due to exams as we use the sports hall in an academy to facilitate the monthly Leyland meeting, the following month was cancelled again due to more exams, the month after the whole rc trucking community from up and down the Uk attended the nationals...
Then due to it being the summer holidays they were doing construction to the building and finally... today was the first meet back 😊
Also there was a model show in Blackpool so I split my day between the two shows and went to Leyland in the Morning and to Blackpool in the afternoon and ill also be returning to Blackpool tomorrow to get more content as there's a lot of nice boats on display and dioramas which really showcase the definition of modelling.

Well... the TMNT Themed Globeliner roof has now been remade into the turtle shell...
Here's some pics in the works and a video will be dropping on making the roof...
Its been such a fun time making this cab and its taken many hours over the last few months going through various prep stages, from cutting the cab and turning it into a stumpy to then get it looking like one piece, same with the back I made to replace the door and the roof has been what I'd say is "proper modelling" and a pain in the ass at the same time 🤣 and the chassis and interior was a small challenge to due to being so small..
So its onto paint next, giving it the final green and yellow theme to finish it off...
After this i think ill be doing some basic kit builds for a while as these builds are so time consuming and leaves me little time or room to create other content..

Currently testing out the airbrush paints sent from Gaahleri, they were sent a while back but I just haven't had the chance to test them till now as I've had other projects on the go and haven't had the room to build any models to test them... I did originally want to just airbrush my stumpy TMNT themed globeliner which is now at the paint stage, however I didn't fancy trying a new product I've never used, especially when it could be detrimental to the outcome of the truck, so I've since been building a few kits and I must say... the kaleido range of airbrush paints from Gaahleri are absolutely fantastic...
As you can see I have a handful of kits out at the moment im working on as I really enjoy model building and thats where it all started for me as a small child 😊 and the 1/24 Italeri Scania i'll build and fully airbrush on the channel.

So guys, here is the first of my series of rc truck action videos from the National Gathering, I will have a complete Thursday to Monday behind the scenes vlog, just having a hard time editing the sound due to "again" using my wireless mics 😬, no matter whether its my directional rode mics, my lavalier wireless pack or clip on mics, the metal building has severe interference giving a terrible underwater muffled effect which i only realised on the Friday evening when i sat down to start editing, however all seemed well through my headphones as i was recording, lesson learnt, no more mics in a tin shed...
so rather than discard another 5 days of vlog footage I'll do my best to clean it up in editing.
In the meantime enjoy the video and please like and Subscribe 😊

Fantastic weekend at the National gathering for Rc Truckers, I took a handful of trucks myself this time to play with as I usually just film, so it was nice to set aside an odd hour to enjoy some time on the layout myself..
Apologies for the live video being sideways, it appears I have to set the orientation of the stream.. I thought it would have just came out the way the camera was like it used to do.. oh well I now have plenty of content to edit anyway, so stay tuned guys, don't forget to hit that subscribe or ill clamp your truck

Building my dedicated semi pulling truck solely for tractor pulling, its going to be a lot of trial and error and potentially a destroyed truck as I wish to keep it with Tamiya running gear but I just don't think it's going to cope with the big power upgrades that will be going in it, I've ran the tractor pull with Rusty on an 1800kv brushless and things were OK mechanically other than it started running hot, now im going bigger.. much much bigger 😉

I'll have a video dropping later.. sorry about the inconsistent videos at the moment but many projects are in heavy prep stages which takes, hours, days even weeks..
I'm no longer having Rusty as a tractor pull truck and will be having a dedicated truck for that then I can keep Rusty as it was.. to take out and enjoy anytime anywhere whatever the weather, so I have had a rummage through my inventory of parts and gathered what's needed to whip up a quick pull truck to get me going..
The TMNT Globeliner roof is currently underway, I would like to have some of these ready for the national gathering but at the same time im not going to rush things for the sake of it so do stay tuned guys and Subscribe if you haven't already 😀

I've been busy recently with other things kind of out if my control and helping out my Dad so I haven't had any time recently to get any filming done as my filming routine had been totally interrupted, also there'll be no Leyland video this month due to the building being used for exams..
Hopefully I can get back to it this weekend and get this stumpy Globeliner started again and finished along with other bits and bobs..
