[New Taipei City] — Midas Touch, a leading fingerprint company focused on biometric identification technology, announced today the release of four new fingerprint recognition modules, aimed at providing additional security for smart lock systems. These fingerprint modules integrate advanced sensing technology designed to enhance both user security and convenience.
The four newly introduced fingerprint recognition modules (MFC-1296QL, MFC-1296L, MFC-1296Q, and MFC-1296) all come equipped with a 112x96 pixel fingerprint sensor with a sensing area of 5.6x4.8 millimeters. These fingerprint modules support various packaging sizes and optional LED support, allowing them to be flexibly applied to a variety of security scenarios.
Especially for smart locks, the LED illumination feature of the MFC-1296QL and MFC-1296L modules provides an improved user experience in low-light environments. Meanwhile, the MFC-1296Q and MFC-1296 modules, due to their smaller packaging size, are particularly suitable for applications requiring higher concealment, such as door locks or safety boxes.
