Hey y'all!

So, although it's only been a few days, it actually wasn't that hard to decide what I want to do with this channel. For the time being (or indefinitely), this channel will be solely about and dedicated to indie and mascot horror. I will continue to stream all sorts of indie horror games and review them when I feel inspired to.

A question you may have: why not continue making music content? Well, I've realized a couple things. First of all, I'm not nearly as good at reviewing music as I am reviewing horror games. Sure, that's a skill I could build up overtime but I'd just be feeling overly insecure about my abilities as a content creator. I'm simply better at making the indie horror content I've been making and I want to make better content. Secondly, I still like making indie horror content! Music is a huge passion of mine, but so is the indie horror space. I've dedicated the entirety of the last 4+ years to it and I still have so much fun with it. I like the goofiness of mascot horror, I like finding genuine underrated gems in the indie space, and I love the creative community of developers that inhabit the space.

Another question you may have is: what the hell are you doing with the second channel? The answer right now is: I don't know. I have ideas but this channel is my main priority.

Lastly, you may wonder: if you love making the music content, won't you feel unfulfilled by not doing it? The answer to that is: I'm again unsure. I still have my AOTY account where I review music I listen to (www.albumoftheyear.org/user/ashleym/) so that's still fun for me to share my thoughts on music. However, I am considering bringing back my podcast where I interview musicians (youtube.com/@realUndergroundPodcast). I loved that show, it was just a lot of work. But it may come back some day.

Anyway, I will be back to streaming and making videos ASAP. I'm honestly excited to just get back into the swing of things. Thank you for being here throughout all the craziness.

Hey everyone.

I'm going to be taking a break from the channel. I've realized that I simply don't know what I want to do with it, and I think it would be better for me to take a step back and truly think about it rather than make a rash decision.

I've unlisted the last few videos from the channel that were music-focused. I want to leave the channel as it was until I make a final decision as to what I'm going to do with it. That doesn't mean I won't decide to continue talking about music, but it does mean that I might not. I'm just not sure yet.

Thank you to those that have continued to watch me through all the tough times. I know I've been extremely unprofessional and inconsistent, so the fact that I still have a small community that supports me is simply heartwarming.

I don't want to be away for too long, but again, I just need some time to think about what I'm doing and focus on other things. I want to come back and make a decision with a clearer mind.
