Iāve had my eye on this one for a while now, since it looked like we were finally getting a genuine Robocop game. And to my surprise, yeah, this game kicks ass. Itās not perfect by any means, but Iām really impressed with the level of authenticity and faithfulness to the original films. Including getting Peter Weller himself for the voice of Alex Murphy.
The Platinum itself was fairly straight forward. Just had to collect some gun parts to upgrade the iconic pistol, complete all the side quests, beat the hardest difficulty, and clean up with a few combat trophies. Overall a really well done game that actually pays tribute and respect to some great movies. Hope to see a sequel in the future, or maybe more games with other 80ās franchises.
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 2/10 Game Rating: 5/10
Picked this one up as a Lovecraftian bundle along with The Sinking City (which I have not played yet). Overall a not a horrible game, but it just didnāt have very much going for it in terms of gameplay.
The Platinum based on the percentage of players who have earned it is very easy. Just a few collectibles to pick up, some side investigations to complete, as well as optional dialogue and choices. Happy I went out of my comfort zone and gave it a chance, I just donāt think itās for me personally.

I already completed this one on the PS4 version, and was hoping to replay it since I was in the mood for an RE game. However I loaded the game up after downloading, and before I could even start the game the Platinum auto popped. I did still give the game another play-through, but I was really hoping to be able to trophy hunt again. Especially since this one is easier the RE 2 Remakeās platinum in my opinion.
I know a lot of die hard fans donāt like this game, however I have zero connection or experience with the original. So I think I enjoy this one a little more than most. Itās definitely way too short and Nemesis is not in the game nearly as much as he should be. I also wouldāve like to have played through the cut levels from the original. However I really like the gun play and dodge system, and still enjoy the RE 2 style inventory and mechanics.
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 5/10 Game Rating: 9/10 (Please buy this game)
This is quite frankly the biggest surprise Iāve ever had while playing a game blind. This game is nothing short of amazing, and a testament to what happens when a company truly gives a shit about what theyāre making.
This games combat is your standard first-person shooter, but the guns all have unique and awesome abilities that have insane combinations. The maneuverability options were cool too, you can definitely feel the Halo and Doom inspiration. The voice acting is also top notch with great performances, charisma, and tons of ad-libbing from the cast that feels both natural and funny.
The Platinum itself was fairly easy as well, provided you make it a point to grab the few missable trophies on your first play-through. Most of my gripes with the game is little nit-picky stuff. The environments are beautiful and dense, but the lack of a map makes it very annoying to collectible hunt in. Not being able to customize your space suit was also a little disappointing, and considering how hilarious the NPCās are no side quests felt like a missed opportunity. The DLC was also fun, even though it was way shorter than I wouldāve liked.
This is definitely a top 5 game of all time for me now, and I highly encourage anyone who hasnāt played this game yet to give it a shot. I pray we get a sequel one day, and they continue to improve this potentially amazing franchise. Iāve never laughed so hard at a game before, and Iāve Platinumed the South Park games.
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 4/10 Game Rating: 6/10
Let me get this out of the way now, I have not read any of Lovecraftās books. Most of my knowledge comes from YouTube lore explanations, but Cthulhu is one of my favorite mythical creatures. I didnāt know much about this game going on, but was left feeling more disappointed than anything else.
The game is very basic and lacks any real combat system, since itās mainly focused on the story and investigation aspects. Which could be cool, but theyāre way too guided and simple to feel like youāre really solving anything. Itās also cool that Cthulhu is speaking to you and you have visions of him as you descend into madness. However itās incredibly disappointing that he only appears for 3 SECONDS at the very end of the game.
I donāt know how closely this game follows the book of the same name, but it just never really focused on the aspects of the story that I actually found interesting. The Platinum itself was also a bit frustrating because of how many missable trophies there are in a given play-through. Not a great game, but not a bad one, just average at best.
Platinum #109 - Assassinās Creed III Remastered (PS4)
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 8/10 Game Rating: 8/10
Like many of my platinums, I completed most of these trophies during my initial play-through years ago. However due to some bs AI on the expert board games, and bugs/glitches with the Encyclopedia trophy, I took a break for a few years.
However I came back in a big way while completing the remaining AC games on my list. This is definitely one of my favorites in the series. Aside from the incredibly boring and slow first sequence, Connor was cool as hell and I love the Tomahawk as a primary weapon and overall setting of the game.
The DLC was definitely one of the most tedious and buggy parts, considering I had to 100% each Chapter in one session or my progress wouldnāt save. The animal powers and abilities were definitely unique and interesting, even if they made combat and traversal trivial. All in all a great game that I donāt advise trying to complete unless youāre ready to deal with some annoying and frustrating bugs.
Seriously though, screw whatever Dev was in charge of the difficulty for the board games. Iāve never seen such blatant cheating in my whole lifeā¦
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 5/10 Game Rating: 5/10
This is the only mainline AC game I have not played, and honestly, Iām disappointed. Iāve never seen anything on this game, so I went in completely blind. I was exicted considering itās a DLC for AC 3, but god damn this game was frustrating.
Many of the collectibles were glitched as hell, and Iām lucky enough I didnāt get any game breaking bugs like other people did. I also experienced a couple crashes at very inconvenient times, so thatās always fun. Traversing the map was also one of the worst Iāve ever dealt with, particularly the Swamp which takes forever to get around. The different personas with unique abilities was a cool idea, but I never felt like they utilized it to its full potential.
This one just didnāt really do anything special for me. I found it to be more frustrating and generic with its design and stability than anything else. It wasnāt as hard to complete as other games at least, but definitely wasnāt as enjoyable of an experience.
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 7/10 Game Rating: 9/10
Despite being the second game in the trilogy, this is the last Ezio game I completed. I did most of the trophies when I initially played through it, so this was mostly just clean up. Iād put this as the second hardest AC game to 100% sync. Particularly the vehicle based missions, which are absolutely rage inducing. Although how I managed to do the notorious Tank mission first try is beyond me.
This remains to be one of the greatest video game trilogies of all time, and gave us one of the most badass protagonists ever. I pray one day we get a modern remake of these games with updated visuals and mechanics. I hate Ubisoft but Iād buy that game immediately, no questions asked.
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 6/10 Game Rating: 7/10
This is the Ezio game I remembered and played the least of when I was younger. So it was cool to sort of experience it for the first time again. Especially considering the current state of the franchise.
I loved the story of an older, more wise Ezio, and seeing the return of the og Altair was badass as well. The Hook Blade while cool, isnāt as innovative as the Phantom Blade or Grappling Hook from Syndicate. The platinum itself was also very smooth besides a few 100% sequences being pretty difficult, and some very annoying traversal between different sections of the map. The worst part was definitely The Lost Archive DLC, which was one of the worst experiences Iāve ever had in my life.
It is kinda funny though how my Platinum was obtained by waiting 8 hours in real time in front of a bank so I could buy 3 books lol
Platinum Difficulty Rating: 5/10 Game Rating: 7/10
I know a lot of people have shit on this game, but I actually really liked it. I like turn based, strategy games but I donāt get to play them often. So it was cool to play one with Marvel characters. The combat itself was fun but I absolutely despise card based games, so thatās a major downside. The relationship mechanic with different heroes was cool, but definitely couldāve been expanded upon in more meaningful ways. And the fact that you play a boring asf, generic āchosen oneā protagonist, is lame as hell considering the amazing cast of characters right in front of you. It also took forever to do the too Light/Dark side paths because of the dialogue points needed for both.
The DLC was cool with Deadpool, Venom, and Storm, though I could not take Morbius seriously in his DLC after Letoās movie.
Iāll be honest and say literally 90% of why I bought this game was because Blade was in it, and god damn does he look sexy as hell. His design is better in this game than in Mavel Rivals. Also, how tf is Venom better written in this game than in Spider-Man 2?
