Thanks for sticking around on this strange little ride of mine. Curious what you actually want to see next. More of me rambling behind the camera, walking you through the shoot, maybe even chatting with the models? Or do you prefer I shut up and just let the photos and video speak for themselves? Either way, thanks for being here. Good, bad, messy ā you keep me shooting. Haha.
The whole x-ray/CT scanner debate. Does it make a difference for the everyday film photos? Well video in the progress of finding out! Live from the air! āļø
Coming this week: a full, unfiltered review of Yes!Star film. Straight outta China, this roll has some surprises, some good, some⦠letās just say, interesting. A bit of mystery, a bit of intrigue, and a whole lot to unpack. Video drops Thursday, 6 PM AEST, thatās 4 AM New York, 10 AM Berlin, 1 AM LA.
Last shoot for 2024! ā I thought I was done. Thought Iād let December slip by without any fuss. But then the camera started calling, low and rough, like a late-night voicemail you canāt ignore. So I answered. One more roll, one more shot before the clock runs out. -JJ
In the spirit of the Olympics this year, I figured it was time to dust off something with a bit of its own weight and history, the Zenit-EM. This old Soviet beast is like the heavyweight champion of cameras, built like a tank, no frills, just grit. It's seen some stories, and today, it's ready to tell a few more.
