*दीपज्योतिः परंब्रह्म दीपज्योतिर्जनार्दनः। दीपो हरतु मे पापं दीपज्योतिर्नमोऽस्तु ते॥*
भावार्थ :- *{दीपक की रोशनी सर्वोच्च ब्रह्म का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है, दीपक की रोशनी जनार्दन (ब्रह्मांड का स्वामी) का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है। (प्रार्थना है कि) इस दीपक का प्रकाश हमारे पापों का हरण करें*
