I mean... there's an obvious answer to 'who would I like to see as a guest judge standing in for Simon' - the guy that SHOULD'VE been standing in for him in 2020 (and yes he was asked but said no because of his hatred of Walliams. So instead we got wooden Ashley Banjo).

Why is it that every time I'm going to a BGT auditions taping, Simon pulls out? In 2024 it was because of Liam Payne's death and KSI stood in, in 2025 it was because he fell down some stairs and hit his head, so Stacey Solomon stood in, and now in 2026 it's because he's recovering from back surgery, so they're looking at a male comedian (probably Alan Carr) to stand in. I wish him the absolute best and a speedy recovery but... it does just seem like he's avoiding me. I've only seen him once from the balcony in the live shows!
