If you are fortunate enough to have Hedgehogs visiting your garden, please do not put out milk and/or bread for them, they are lactose intolerant and this can make them very ill or even kill them, please provide your Hedgehog visitors with shallow fresh bowls of water and wet/dry Cat Food.
Important Feeding Tips:
Water Only: Only leave out water, never milk or cream.
Consistency: Provide food at dusk when they are active.
Shelter: Use a feeding station (a box with a 5-inch by 5-inch hole) to prevent cats from eating the food.
Hygiene: Clean feeding bowls regularly and remove any uneaten wet food to prevent attracting flies or bacteria.
Natural Diet: Encourage natural food sources like beetles, worms, and caterpillars by creating wild, leafy areas in your garden.
