This channel is run by me, a fan of Star Trek. I mix between HD clips of the show (trying not to go over copy-right lines - CBS and Paramount are very generous in what they allow and I don't want to push the boundaries!) and my own content - usually derived from Trek in the form of a joke or review. I also use the channel to experiment with video editing and VFX techniques I carry out in Adobe After Effects. I do this as a hobby and this is a great way to mix my two interests.
This channel is NOT monetized. I do not make any money off this channel. Any adverts you see or encounter are part of Youtube and any copyright CBS and Paramount have slapped on the videos. I cannot control the content of the ads.

Why are you subscribed to my channel?
hello, reader. You most likely subscribed to my channel in 2017/18 when I released a series of 0-day (same-day) long clips from Star Trek Discovery - episode by episode - as well as montages of the SFX and space visuals. Some of these videos got several hundred thousand views, and I went from a subscriber base of 200-300, to several thousand.
I only made the videos because no one else was doing it at the time - I wanted to re-watch the Battle of the Binary Stars over and over but there were none on YouTube, so I made one. And then one of the Shenzou and one of all the Discovery external shots etc...
The thing is, my channel isn't about star trek discovery - as much as I like the show, my channel is about me making stupid dumb videos for small audiences.
As a result, I've made / released a few vids but these seem to 'piss off' lots of subscribers.
The reason you're seeing these, instead of more discovery videos is that I've removed them. not out of any anger or spite or anything on my part and not out of any request from CBS or whatever - but because that isn't what my channel is about and it's not what I want to do.
So if you subscribed for that, thank you for doing so but you should unsubscribe else you'll just get the odd "dumb" video now and then and just thumbs down it etc.
