Wait… how has it been TWO YEARS?!
Back in 2023, me and my mate (Warm Synths x ‪@CNTRRNDM‬ collab style amazing art by‪@linski101‬ ) put out a 3-track EP under the name ‪@yeewaltertheband‬
It’s basically what happens when two synth nerds try to make French disco in their bedrooms and get carried away.

Still slaps. Still weird. Still proud.

Hello warm friends, as we slowly and surely move towards 1000 of us hanging out here on the channel, I just wanted to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everyone that has stopped by over the years!

The little tk on the subscribe button may not mean all that much to you but to me it's a beautiful little way to connect in our strange digital world, a way to say "hey, sup, nice one mate", and I truly appreciate it!

I've been thinking on how I could celebrate our 1k subscriber milestone, and I've come up with this, the "Warm World Project", whoever wishes to join in, I ask you to please do the following:

# Warm World Project
1. Record a sample of your local area, local traffic, ambient noise, yourself reciting your favorite movie quote, whatever you think will be cool
2. Send that bad boy to warmsynthsiloveyou@gmail.com, in wav format would be ideal, but video or whatever can work as well
3. I create a cool jam with it
4. Sit back and enjoy when our collab hits youtube!

I think this will be a cool way to celebrate and say a big *thank you* to everyone who I am lucky enough to have checking out my little bleeps and bloops 🤙

(PS check out the first ever jam I posted, it's wild for me to watch this again and even remember some of the head space I was in at the time. I can almost feel the uncertainty radiate out the monitor haha)

Warm synths

Been a pretty nice journey so far, quite removed from when I was staring at my only synth, the PO-20, and thinking "can I make a lofi hip hop beat with this? Surely I could? 😁 And should I have a go putting some of these little jams on YouTube?"

Well here we are around 2 years later, I remember being so pumped for 100, 200, 300 subscribers and I still can't believe this amount of people would want to look at my little peckings on little synths and think "yeh this is not bad".

In the grand scheme of things it's not a massive amount, but to me personally it is an incredibly huge amount and I will be forever grateful, from subscriber 1 to subscriber 500, you are all freakin' awesome!

I'm not really sure how to celebrate, I was thinking a 500 second Volca Bass jam? Should be around 8 minutes, how does that sound?
