Hi all! So, one milestone that came and went during my period of grad school-induced YouTube channel hibernation is the fact that one of my videos (Arctic Monkeys - "Brianstorm") broke a million views. It's amazing to me that this little idea I had back in high school, to cover some of my favorite artists, throw the videos up on YouTube, and see what people thought, ended up turning into a wonderful platform to connect with some of my favorite bands/drummers and music fans all over the world.
I've moved around quite a bit over the past few years (at times literally to the other side of the world), and as a result I haven't always been able to give the channel the attention I'd like to, but I've always appreciated the views, the kind words, the music recommendations, and the Ratatouille/Ron Weasley comments that this (rather niche) community has provided. Especially after the difficulties that the past year threw at the world, I just wanted to say thank you to all of those who have watched a video, posted a comment, and just been a part of this experiment.
Much more to come in 2021. Sincere thanks and love from a very grateful ginger drummer.
