Sensex, Nifty fall for second day, investor wealth erodes by ₹12 lakh crore

Rupee at Record Low: The rupee slid to 90.97/USD, raising inflation concerns and reducing foreign investor returns.
Pre-Budget Caution: Ahead of the Union Budget 2026, investors remained cautious over potential cuts in capital expenditure.
