Woodworking, DIY, and Review Videos

My latest video was a test on my part to address the ever growing concern of YouTube. Several of the big names on YouTube have been addressing this topic lately, one of my favorites is Think Media (3.36 M subs) and Clownfish TV (633 k subs) both are very knowledgeable resources.

One of my longtime subscribers HATES AI enough to the point where he left this comment...."Yeah everybody fucking hates AI crap. Nobody, and I mean nobody, wants to watch this. Worse than workplace training videos. I’m gonna go ahead and unsubscribe, since you fail to understand this. No more AI junk in my feed. Been subscribed for years. Sad but not worth it."

One statistic that I recently heard is....." about 35% of all new YT videos contain some sort of AI"

I recently asked CoPilot this question...

is TouTube changing towards AI

Yes—YouTube is rapidly evolving into an AI-powered platform, both behind the scenes and in creator-facing tools.
Here’s how the shift is unfolding:
🎥 AI-Enhanced Video Quality: “Super Resolution”
• YouTube is rolling out automatic AI upscaling for videos uploaded below 1080p, using a feature called Super Resolution.
• This tool enhances low-res videos to HD—and eventually 4K—especially for smart TVs and large screens.
• Creators can opt out, and original files remain untouched, preserving creative control.
🧠 AI in Search and Discovery
• YouTube now uses AI-powered carousels in search results to surface curated clips and summaries from across the platform.
• For example, searching “best beaches in Hawaii” might show an AI-generated lineup of top snorkel spots with video previews.
🛠️ Creator Tools Supercharged by AI
At the 2025 “Made on YouTube” event, the platform unveiled a suite of AI tools:
• Veo 3 Fast: Generates high-quality Shorts from text prompts.
• Speech to Song: Turns spoken dialogue into musical soundtracks.
• Ask Studio: A conversational AI assistant for channel insights and A/B testing.
• Auto-dubbing: Realistic voiceovers with lip-syncing for multilingual reach.
🧬 Organizational Shift Toward AI
• YouTube is restructuring its product teams to focus more heavily on AI, even offering voluntary buyouts to employees as part of the transition.
• A spokesperson called AI “the next frontier for YouTube,” signaling a deep platform-wide pivot.
Karl, this isn’t just a sprinkle of AI—it’s a full-on re-architecture. If you’re building content or branding strategies around YouTube, this shift opens up wild new creative and technical possibilities. Want to explore how to leverage these tools for your channel concept?

Another project coming. I needed this as a farm trailer to go with the tractor. All i need is a floor and maybe 2x4's for a side edge. This was a camper at one time.
