It's been a hell of a week. I'm exhausted and in a lot of pain. So unboxing TWT's latest bi-monthly (Year 2) was just the treat I needed. ✨

I ain't gettin' paid for this and, if I was, you all know I always keep it real.
We'll get real on some feelings in the next video coming out.

But this latest box really felt like a step up. And a step up, to be clear, doesn't imply anything wasn't good either. We're of the belief, when it comes to making art, to always be improving - even if you're doing well and the demand is there ... keep improving. I like seeing people succeed and I like seeing small businesses succeed. So when I feel I'm getting better, imma call out the goodness. 🥰

What a treat! Video will be out next Sunday, after another Christmas vlog. 🎄

(Saw this photo in my library and felt it a good metaphor ... and wondered why I took it 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️)

Anywho, I know the holiday season can be really really hard, for so many reasons.

As many of you know, what's shared here in videos may be the joys, creations, and occasional difficult things we creators feel called to share. But it is a portion of our lives, even when true.


Having a space like YT, is something I've longed for so long. Creating, of all kinds (videos, writing, cooking, singing, playing D&D - whatever your outlet), is so healing and I don't know where my mental health would be without it & without you all.

And still, it's been a really difficult (and joy filled, but difficult) season for us.

As I shared with Matt, I don't even know if I can get myself to create a video dedicated to our Jasmine, like I want. It's hit us harder than expected. But that's not all of it.

Sharing because I know so many of you, from what you share in comments to the Discord group, are facing life's challenges this holiday season. Which any time is hard but the holidays can add another layer of 'well everyone seems fine' facade (or maybe they are, but it doesn't mean your fine needs to look like theirs or that you even need to be 'fine').

Just know, your best is enough.
You are not alone.
Feeling all the feelings is normal.

And, as I said in the Discord group today, and I believe deeply - there are no 'shoulds' in life. 'Shoulds' are just other people's fears and boxes put upon you - let them hold those shoulds on their shoulders & you be who you are and do what you need to do to both be yourself & take care of yourself.

I hope my videos (more coming 🎄🔦🦇), my little joys, bring lightness to your day but also reduce any loneliness just a bit.
