Selina Grazia Art

Full time artist creating Victoriana inspired pieces with real butterflies and insects in antique frames and displays. For fans of dark academia, cottage core, animal crossing and curio cabinet taxidermy.
Cruelty free, I raise many of the insects myself and allow them a full lifespan / natural death. I also source antique entomology collections to restore for my work. I also run a monthly snail mail Print Club.
I post tutorials on insect taxidermy / preservation and behind the scenes of my resident insects in The Bug Room, as well as previews of new collections of work.

You can find me on all platforms under @selinagraziaart and shop my work and Print Club at www.selinagrazia.com

Behold, the Mystery Grub. My best guess is this is one of the M. torquata immaulicolis that somehow went into diapause as a larvae. It was in a large tub of substrate by itself, the only thing I remember having in there previously was three of the M. torquatas but they were all female.
The only other beetles I have had of this size are rhinos and goliaths, but neither of those have been breeding since 2024.
