This is legitimately one of the best horror comedies I’ve ever seen. I laughed for pretty much the entire runtime and was pretty amazed by how snappy the writing is. What an 80s gem! #horror#horrormovies
I watched Madame Web out of morbid curiosity since it’s now on Netflix. As it turns out, yeah, it is indeed shockingly awful. The story, the dialogue, the pacing, like… all of it. 😬 The overall quality is Syfy Channel level stuff, but at least with Sharknado everyone is in on the joke.
Acquired this box set today. For anyone else who’s interested in it, Amazon currently has a killer (pun intended) deal going. I think Freddy vs Jason is on deck for this evening. 🙌
The first movie I ever owned! I was given this copy of E.T. on my fifth birthday, and I watched this over… and over… and over. I think it’s the single most most important thing I received as a kid that kickstarted my love of all things film.
