I've been playing quite a lot of the old Commodore 64 of late, so when Tez ( ‪@TeZXSpectrum‬ ) and Mark ( ‪@doughnutdoney997‬ ) invited me on a live ZX Spectrum stream, this Saturday at 8pm, I thought, why not, be a nice change 😁😁

We all had that one mate growing up..........

Mine was called Simon.

I went to his house one time and spotted a computer in the corner and asked him....

"What the hell is that?"

"That" was a Dragon 32 computer.

Sadly I lost contact with Simon many years ago, but I met a lovely chap called Chris at Retrofest this year, who not only gifted me my very own Dragon computer and all the bits but was also willing to share his story growing up with one.

We've got an almost ruined Christmas, game protection theft, dongles and a TV called a Bush Ranger.....

Hello Subscribers! Been awhile, hope everyone is well and looking forward to Christmas........ (I'll shut up now).

New video coming out on Thursday at 6pm that is all about those ZX Spectrum games that reviewed really well the first time round but by the time the budget release was re-reviewed, they tanked big time!

It's a top ten of the worst offenders, with some proper Marmite games involved and quite honestly the most bizarre review for the number one game!

I'm back from me hols with hopefully (well I think so) a banger of a new video, all about Nintendo elephants and spectrum hobbits, coming out tomorrow at 6pm!

And...... it's with the help from one of you lovely subscribers, a chap called - Rustem.



He always leaves me interesting comments about how he played ZX Spectrum games and his gaming journey beyond that in the old Soviet Union and the ever changing Russia he grew up in..

So I asked him if I could make a video about it, and he said yes 😍



So join me to hear his story and get a sense of what it was like growing up in a time of massive change and unrest but with gaming always at the heart of everything, and......especially on the Speccy!
