I'm back from me hols with hopefully (well I think so) a banger of a new video, all about Nintendo elephants and spectrum hobbits, coming out tomorrow at 6pm!

And...... it's with the help from one of you lovely subscribers, a chap called - Rustem.



He always leaves me interesting comments about how he played ZX Spectrum games and his gaming journey beyond that in the old Soviet Union and the ever changing Russia he grew up in..

So I asked him if I could make a video about it, and he said yes 😍



So join me to hear his story and get a sense of what it was like growing up in a time of massive change and unrest but with gaming always at the heart of everything, and......especially on the Speccy!

Last week I asked you which tree Bruce was hiding behind in my Spectrum Safari video.

The correct answer (which was also shown right at the end of the video 😀) was....... drumroll........

What game, when you were a kid, sticks in your memory more than any other?

Mine, you ask? Oh...ok then 😊.........

It's a Speccy game that maybe not many of you will know but it's one of the most annoyingly addictive games that to this day, I have never completed!

There is also some prizes to be won too, if you can guess what tree, Bruce the bastard koala is hiding behind....

Hello Everyone! It's been awhile!

I have finally finished the Bob Pape R-Type story, and I'm excited to share it with you all this Thursday at 6pm.

The story has erm.... everything! Tax evasion, Fraud squad, everyone trying to sue poor old Bob, 16 hour working days, not getting paid, blackmail attempts and so much more.

The ZX Spectrum version of R-type is explained, how on earth did Bob manage it but also we look at the Commodore 64 version and how the creators were practically held hostage by Activision before they turned to someone they had already warned with legal action to make the game (you couldn't make it up!)
