Xiaomi 17 Ultra launch date and design officially revealed
Last week, Xiaomi teased that the flagship 17 Ultra will debut in China this week. Now, the company has revealed the exact launch date, design, and the color options of the phone.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be unveiled in China on December 25, the company confirmed in a Weibo post. The brand also shared the phone’s rear design and color options.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. It is rumored to offer a 1-inch type main rear sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, and upgraded Leica optics. The handset is also said to see a global launch in the coming months.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra new design renders leak
Fresh CAD-based renders of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra have surfaced online that show the phone from different angles. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra successor is expected to be unveiled early next year.
In the first render below, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is seen with a flat display and slim, uniform bezels. The corners of the display appear to be more rounded than last year’s model. The edges of the phone are also slightly rounded compared to the S25 Ultra.
It is expected to be powered by the recently launched Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, but there are rumors of an Exynos 2600 variant as well. The phone is also rumored to offer 60W wired charging support, a slightly larger 6.9-inch display, and a 5,000 mAh battery.
