🎬 "Sati Sulochana" – The First Kannada Talkie Cinema !
👉On March 3, 1934, the first Kannada talkie film, Sati Sulochana, was released, marking a historic milestone in the journey of Kannada cinema.
👉Directed by Y. V. Rao, this landmark mythological film was produced by South India Movietone. It starred Subbaiah Naidu as Indrajit and Tripuramba as Sulochana, with Lakshmibai in a prominent role.
👉Release Venue: Paramount Theatre, Bangalore.
👉Production Studio: Chhatrapati Studios, Kolhapur.
👉Genre: Mythological.
👉Significance: First Kannada sound film (Talkie)
👉Although silent films had been screened in the region earlier, Sati Sulochana is officially recognized as the beginning of the Kannada cinema talkie era — laying the foundation for what would later become the vibrant Sandalwood industry.

👉 ಈ ಪೌರಾಣಿಕ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ವೈ. ವಿ. ರಾವ್ ಅವರು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಸೌತ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಮೂವಿಟೋನ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿತು.
ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಬ್ಬಯ್ಯ ನಾಯ್ಡು ಅವರು ಇಂದ್ರಜಿತ್ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ತ್ರಿಪುರಾಂಬಾ ಅವರು ಸುಲೋಚನಾ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿನಯಿಸಿದರು. ಲಕ್ಸ್ಮೀಬೈ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
