The Hopeful People of New York is NGO, striving to benefit the Korean community through diverse methods of art. Through a generous sponsor of Nongshim Co., we were able to host a five-month audition program where auditionees could use their talents to benefit their community.
Our most prominent and important aspect is concerts. Through concerts and our usage of directors and performance experts working in video, sound, and media art, we are able to produce high-quality performances that are difficult to encounter for the Korean community.
We are sharing high-quality performances of various genres, including pop auditions, jazz concerts, opera and tango performances with world-renowned opera singers and conductors, and Doo-Wop performances.
The purpose of HFNY performances is to give warm, happy, and lingering pieces of memories as gifts to those who are facing stressful moments in their life also helping to create an all-rounded cultural flow of the Korean community in New York.
