I have a team full of women.
Some are married, some are not. Some have kids and families to manage, while some are at the peak of their careers, completely focused on learning and growing.

I’ve been working for more than 21 years, and honestly, my team has taught me quite a few things.

The women who have families have a lot to juggle. Kids, home, work and everything in between. So I’ve learnt that sometimes, being flexible as a leader matters.

The younger girls are in a different phase. They are ambitious, eager to learn and always ready to take on something new.

And the ones with years of experience bring a different kind of maturity and perspective.

Everyone has a different life, different priorities and different strengths.
But one thing I see across my team is how much they care about the work and our clients. They listen. They are patient. They are empathetic.

And somehow, after managing everything, they can still come to me and ask, “Ma’am, aur kuch hai?” 😄

I think that’s what makes a team special.

Different women. Different stages of life. Different strengths.
And each one has taught me something.

I’m still learning from them.❤️

In 2021, I wrote about Gen Z and money. Five years later, I found myself thinking about that same conversation all over again. 😊
Yesterday, I attended the Gen Z Summit in Mumbai, and one question kept coming up: Who really is Gen Z, and how do we speak their language?

It took me back to 2021, when I contributed to an article in The New Indian Express about Gen Z, money and the growing influence of finfluencers.

Even then, one thing was becoming clear: this generation wanted information differently.
Less jargon, More simplicity, More relatability.
And most importantly, more authenticity.

Five years later, at the summit, I realised this isn't just a finance conversation anymore. Brands across industries are trying to understand the same shift.

My biggest takeaway?
Personal finance principles may not have changed, but the way we communicate them has to.
If we want Gen Z to understand investing, insurance and money better, we can't keep expecting them to speak the language of finance.

For our 20th Founder’s Day, we had photographers, videographers and cameras capturing every moment. But the memory that stayed with us wasn’t digital. It was this. 😍

We had a live artist to create a doodle during the event, capturing the people, conversations, milestones and little moments as they happened. 😊

And somehow, this one canvas captured the essence of the day better than photographs could. Photos capture moments. This captured the story.

In a world where AI can create almost anything, this was a beautiful reminder that human observation, creativity and interpretation are still irreplaceable.

For a few hours, we replaced digital with something beautifully human. ❤️ #grateful

Some moments deserve a little extra gratitude. ❤️
I’m truly grateful to have been recognised as one of the top Health Insurance Experts in the country by Niva Bupa at their CEO Conclave in Portugal.

Niva Bupa completed 15 years, and so did my journey with Niva Bupa.
When you look back, 15 years feels like a long time. But when you’ve genuinely enjoyed the journey, it somehow feels like yesterday.

A big thank you to our clients, who have become nothing less than family to us, for their continued trust and support.

And to my family, for always being there, supporting me and cheering me on through every milestone.

While attending a mutual fund event recently, one thing really stayed with me.
I noticed beyond the discussions was the very low representation of women in the room.

I’ve been in this industry since 2008, and I have definitely seen things change over the years. There are more women today than when I started, but the number is still much lower than it should be.

Of course, meeting Radhika Gupta was one of the highlights for me. She has been such a strong and inspiring voice in the mutual fund industry, and seeing her journey is a reminder of what women can achieve when they step into this space and make their mark.

I genuinely hope more women take that first step and consider a career in this industry.

Recently, I was invited by BBC News Hindi BBC News Hindi for a short interview to share my views and advice on home loans.😊

And honestly, it felt like a proud moment.
It feels great to see women being recognised for their knowledge and expertise in areas like home loans, finance and money decisions.

These moments remind me that the work we do and the knowledge we share are reaching a much wider audience.

Grateful to BBC News Hindi for recognising our work and giving me the opportunity to share my perspective.

I created an email ID for my home and it actually makes so much sense.
Something like yourhome2026@gmail.com 👍

I use it to keep all my important home-related documents in one place:
• Property papers
• Property tax receipts
• Electricity & water bills
• Home insurance
• Home loan statements
• Renovation bills
• Appliance warranties
• Society/RWA communication

Earlier, these things would be scattered across WhatsApp, emails, physical files and different folders.
Now, if I need something 5 years from today, I know exactly where to look.
Selling the house? Need an old warranty?
Renovating? Looking for an old receipt?

Just search the home email ID.

I’ve also made sure a trusted family member knows about it.
Because important household information shouldn’t depend on just one person.

Of course, the account must be protected with a strong password, two-factor authentication and a secure backup.
