3 Most Inspiring Women of my life - My Mother, my Sister and my Daughter ❤️

#1 My Mother - My Mother Parveen Kaur a.k.a Pinky. The strength my mother displayed after my Papa's passing in 2005 is something I admire deeply. She stepped into the roles of both Father and Mother with grace and unwavering patience and leadership. She's my hero, and I continue to learn from her example every day.

#2 My Sister- I've learned so much about the determination of the human spirit from my younger sister, Simarpreet Kaur. Despite being five years younger, she navigates life with a wisdom and willpower that inspires me daily. Whenever I need direction or a steady hand, she's the one I look to.

#3 My Daughter : My daughter, Gurbani, is more than just my daughter; she's a true friend. I'm so proud of the relationship I have with Gurbani, She’s become a wonderful companion . We share a bond where we can talk for hours about anything and everything. She's blossoming into a beautiful, intelligent, and passionate young lady with a fantastic sense of humour.

A tragic loss turned into a 6-month claim battle. One clause could have prevented it.

Recently, we celebrated our 22nd marriage anniversary.
We were sitting together, reflecting not just on memories,
but on how far we’ve come financially. 😊

The initial years weren’t perfect.
Like most couples, we were still figuring things out.
We learned to be accountable individually and together.
We divided responsibilities, took ownership, and grew as a team.
We built processes, created systems, and yes we had arguments, disagreements, and tough conversations.

But with time, something changed.
As we matured, so did our approach to money.
Our financial planning became clearer.
Our financial life became more intentional.

Today, I truly believe this.
Strong finances aren’t built overnight.
They’re built through mutual trust, clarity, patience, and consistency.

Marriage isn’t just about growing old together
it’s about growing financially wise together.

In 2005, when I officially started working, I could feel it - there was hesitation.
There were trust issues.
After my father passed away, many clients quietly wondered: Can she really take this legacy forward?

After all, I was just 22 years old, suddenly responsible for something deeply sensitive — their money.
Trust isn’t inherited.
It has to be earned.
So we took an oath — not in words, but in action.

We personally wrote and sent letters to our clients, reassuring them that the values, ethics, and responsibility they trusted my father with would continue with me.

That phase taught me one of the most powerful lessons of my life:
1. Age doesn’t build trust. Integrity does.
2. Legacy survives only when responsibility is respected.

Almost two decades later, that moment still defines how I work with honesty, accountability, and deep respect for the trust people place in us.

Because when someone trusts you with their finances, they’re not just trusting your skills — they’re trusting you.

Back in 2017, while reviewing a customer’s documents, we realised he had an old LIC policy that was already due for maturity and it had been completely forgotten.

Although this policy wasn’t originally purchased through us, we had been guiding and servicing him for years. So we stepped in and helped him through the entire maturity claim process, end to end.

A few days later, he surprised us with a beautiful handwritten letter, expressing his happiness and gratitude.
That letter meant so much to us that we got it framed, and even today, it proudly hangs on our office wall.
Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.

It’s not just about policies.
It’s about showing up for people, building trust, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
These gestures keep us going. ✨

Feeling grateful to receive an award from HDFC ERGO and that too, all the way in Athens, Greece. 🇬🇷

I’ve always believed that progress isn’t about giant leaps, but about small, consistent steps.

So here’s my promise, to show up 1% better every single day, to keep learning, growing, and serving with dedication.

Grateful for the journey. Excited for what’s next.
