Hey Lovely Peeps!!!

So….. I massively underestimated how hot the “sunroom/office” was going to get in the UK summer.

It’s hot.

Like really hot.

And humid.

And I’m in Perimenopause (hot flushes are no joke!).

We don’t have an air conditioning unit, nor can we get one (even if I could afford it the wait list would have it arriving mid September time, I checked) and built in air conditioning is not possible.

This is making working in the room very very difficult. I’ve tried late at night, early morning, just powering through…that lasted 10 minutes, cool packs, cool towels, and fans.

My next scheme is to cover the outside of the windows in tin foil to try and repel the sun rays!! Seriously! Dad is out buying extra wide tin foil as I type!!

If this doesn’t work I’ll be moving the computer down in to the studio which is about 10 degrees cooler. Not ideal as there isn’t really room and I’m not the only one that uses the computer!!

All of this very British whining about the weather is a way of explaining why there haven’t been any videos recently.

I’ve filmed them….I just can’t edit them!! But I’m working on it!!

It’s also why there haven’t been Hang Outs (and “Zoom” calls for the Patreon Peeps) for a while after I said they’d be coming back.

I’ve lived in (and loved) 45 degree heat….but that was in a house built for it with marble everything and air con in every room and a pool that had to be chilled!! I know 35 degrees isn’t “that hot” to some but I’m literally melting 🫠

All of this to say….. I’ve got some videos coming soon. I’m working on a solution for the rest of summer and thank you all so much for bearing with me.

Hey Lovely Peeps!

Thank you all so much for your lovely messages, comments and cards about Chiana. I still expect to see her everywhere, it’s very strange that she’s not where she always is. Max, Issy and Kai have all been very cuddly which has been lovely.

Whilst I haven’t been feeling up to filming, Zooming or live Hang Outs, I haven been been keeping busy.

I’ve been uploading my entire wardrobe to Indyx which has been quite eye opening (I knew I had a lot of stuff but….WOW!). I’ll be opening this up to you all if you fancy styling some outfits for me but I’ll first be letting my bestie style me for the initial video.

I have also been uploading my stash to Stash Hub. I got all my fabric done in January and have been working my way through my patterns. I haven’t even started on my buttons, trims and hardware… yet!

All of this to say; thank you for giving me some space to grieve and there will be “interesting” videos coming… soonish.

Hey Lovely Peeps. It’s been a really shitty week (if you didn’t see the post on Instagram/Facebook my beloved Chiana died very unexpectedly last week). I’ve been struggling to settle and do any one thing so I’m flitting between jobs which is keeping my brain occupied. Currently I’m uploading my dress collection to Indyx (for a future video) and it’s proving to be quite fun! “Normal” service will resume on the channel this month…. I am determined!
