I'm doing some initial tests with Nitre Bluing. Quite interesting technique to get more controlled and even temper colors on steel. Instead of heat and oxygen from the air, you use a molten nitrate/nitrite salt bath which both crates an even heat and provides oxygen to oxidize the surface.
I hope to make a video on the subject soon.

I have been a bit distracted lately, first by our local newspaper running a story on my blacksmithing adventures and today I was on a live interview with TV4, one of our national TV broadcasting networks.
Holy cow, that was nerve wracking.
The clip is in Swedish sadly, but you get the idea :)
