Shopify Custom Pixel Not Working? 🤔
Here’s an easy fix that could save you hours of troubleshooting:
➡ Check your Customer Privacy Settings!
Shopify might be blocking your pixel if these settings are misconfigured—even if you’re not using Shopify’s native consent banner.
(Fun fact: Shopify’s privacy settings only work with its own consent banner!)
If you’re relying on custom pixels for data layers (and not directly sending data to Google, Meta, etc.), you don’t need consent checks.
✅ Ensure:
Permission: Set to "Not required."
Data Sale: Choose "Data collected does not qualify as data sale.
Save yourself the hassle and double-check your privacy settings today!
