RANDOM question… Would you ever, as a viewer of this channel, be happy with an ad read in a video or an entire video that focuses on a product specifically? Explanation below.

This is something that I haven’t considered a thing for this channel whatsoever because a lot of people over time have said they like no ad reads in a video and to be honest with you I’m happy not doing them either. I did, however, receive a recent email from a company asking if I would do an entire dedicated video to their product.

Yes, me… a small YouTuber who got hit with a couple of shadow bans, swallowed by AI slop and spat out by a false content violation notice towards the end of last year. The channel right at this moment in time has zero momentum from those factors plus a few others, which I am currently addressing.

Now the lack of momentum that the channel has right now would mean that it is not a good idea to do ad reads or ad videos as it would not yield any results for the companies in question, but did it did get me thinking if ever I did get that momentum back, then would that be a prospect you would be interested in or didn’t mind it being in the video. I don’t have any intention of doing it if the demographic result of this poll says no and I would only consider it and be very selective if the answer is yes. I have several demographics to fill on this channel because I have people who subscribe for very different things, which means I can’t always cater for everyone in all videos.

Apologies for my bad release times with my videos this week. I mixed up my timings completely, which I don't normally do. All my videos were written and uploaded and I decided to have some air head moments and not schedule them. The only video that is on schedule is Doctor Who. Make that make sense.
