Sorry for the lack of videos this month so far, I am moving!!!! Iβm so so excited for the move, itβs much needed and I canβt wait to set up my bookshelf (& add another?? π€). Thank you for your patience, my February wrap up will be coming this weekend πππ
In the meantime, feel free to watch my last video!! I had fun making it and thinking about whether or not longer books were worth it.
Also, Iβd love to hear how your week is going, let me know in the comments! π
The Bringing Joy Book Club pick for March 2026 isβ¦..
The Manual for Good Wives by Lola Jaye! πthis historical fiction book is about an African woman posing as a Victorian society woman is on trial for deceiving her readers π
With my love for Bridgerton along with my love for Lola Jayeβs stories, I thought it would be a great read to do together!!!
Iβm about 200 pages into Half of a Yellow Sun (the 4th book on my February TBR π€) and it is getting INTENSE. The beginning was slower, but now it is action-packed and tense. It follows 3 different people before and during the Nigerian Civil War & WOW is it eye-opening. Iβll be back to talk about it once I finish, but this is my second book by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and I think Iβm liking this book even more than Americanah. Her writing is so descriptive and I am hooked!
What are you reading this week? Iβm hoping to finish this book soon and move onto my final book on my February TBR.
We are over a week into February and Iβm onto my 3rd book from my February TBR π€π€ if youβre looking for a super engaging thriller to read, come join my YT membership book club and read The Anatomy of an Alibi with us!!!
Weβre only 12 chapters in and I read most of it in one sitting πππ come respond to the prompts and join us for some fun crafting next week as well!
