Hey guys quick life update! finally got our house back and have moved back in! I know My upload schedule has slowed down considerably over the last year but that should be turning around now. Grim dark mysteries Volume 9, another grimdark story hour, and a dedicated video on Warhammer horrors greatest unsolved mystery, Valgaast, (a word/name that shows up in every single one of the horror stories and nobody knows what it means), should be out soon.

Okay so that's the YouTube update out of the way. Now for the life update where I'm going to get a little bit vulnerable.

As many of you know me and my wife lost both our home and our studio which is a separate building to the hurricanes in Florida last year. Not having a place to live permanently, cycling between friends houses, hotels and couch surfing while also Trying to deal with insurance, contractors, rebuilding the studio ourselves (it wasn't insured) while also trying to dedicate my usual 50-70 hours a week to making videos was More than I could handle and it left me and my wife overwhelmed and exhausted pretty much every day.

I'm really thankful to all of the wonderful people who helped out during this time. Like my amazing editors who put up with my insane schedule and gave up their time and energy to lessen the burden on me. I also want to thank all of our friends and family who were there for me and my wife. whether that was to put sledgehammers through drywall during the original demo, or to just be a shoulder to lean on when things got hard. Also a big thank you to All of you who offered kind words of support in the comments, you truly have no idea how much that meant to me, especially on the really dark days.

Me and my wife's mental health is also in a much better place finally being back in our home and being able to put this terrible chapter behind us. I'm not going to lie things got really bad behind the scenes and the two of us went from being closer than any two people could possibly be...to at each other's throats on the edge of divorce. With how much we were dealing with and how overwhelmed we both were, we completely lost the ability to communicate and pretty much everything the other person said was interpreted as an attack. We knew we both loved each other and took our vows to one another seriously, so we ended up going to marriage counseling once a week for 12 months. It was a long hard road that required a lot of healing but I can say happily and humbly that it saved our marriage. We're closer and stronger together than we've ever been.

There's still A lot that needs done. There are still boxes stacked to the ceiling and we're still out $250,000. Insurance is supposed to reimburse us 100k of that But I'm anticipating we're going to have to fight tooth and nail for it.

So again thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart for your support. I'm so excited to have a bit of normalcy back in my life and to get back to making videos without having to also balance a million other things haha. You guys rock!

You might have noticed my uploads have slowed down a bit. I'm taking some time off to focus on mental health and getting my house back. It's been some 8 months since I lost it to a flood and have spent the entirety of that time living out of a single room. Not going to lie things got pretty bad behind the scenes. Dealt with a lot of anxiety, depression, and feelings of helplessness, seemingly constant all nighters, and 80-90 hour work weeks with few if any days off. I'm doing a lot better now. Back to the gym and in therapy.

I might make a video on everything that went down someday but I don't think that would be helpful and I am not the type of person who likes bumming others out with my personal struggles. This channel is a celebration of Warhammer and it's Rich Lore, not a place for me too vent. Just know that me and my wife are safe and hopefully this hellish period Of our life will be over in a month or two. Looks like we are in the final stretch and I want to take time to make sure that goes smoothly.

Probably should have posted this earlier but I'm on break for January. I'll be back in February with more videos!

This last year has been a wild ride and I'm so grateful for all of your support! As many of you know our house and studio flooded in October and we are still not yet back in our home. Been staying with family ever since. Having to navigate the nightmare that is American insurance, rebuild me and my wife's life, and keep the channel going full time over the last 3 months basically meant I ran myself ragged working 70 to 80 hours a week non-stop. Don't get me wrong I feel incredibly blessed to be in this position as being a YouTuber talking about Warhammer is a dream job I never thought possible, But a break was definitely needed lol. More so, we're in the final stretch of getting our house back so I want to take a few weeks to focus exclusively on that.

And don't worry, part two of the Lord of excess is definitely still happening I promise. I was going to make part two months ago but then the hurricanes hit and my whole life got flipped upside down so it got put on the back burner.

Hurricane Milton update. Hey guys, I'm alive and we're heading back to the house now. The bad news is our area received 18 inches of rain over the course of a few hours. From the pictures my buddy has sent me we had about 6-8 inches of water in the house and the studio which is a different building nearby. What that means is that the next week is gonna be a ton of work ripping out carpet and dry wall, treating for mold, and navigating the nightmare that is insurance. Unfortunately I can't really work on videos during this time so probably won't see another video from me for at least a week and a half...

I appreciate everyone who has reached out. Me the wife and our ferrets are all ok and this could have been a lot worse. It's certainly not great, but other people in the area are suffering far more than we are.

Another Warp Storm approaches... So as many of you know I live in the Tampa Bay area and hurricanes are nothing new. This one however is pretty scary not going to lie. I've got a bunch of cool spooky lore videos planned for this month including a grim dark story hour featuring some voiceovers from people you may know that is based on my favorite scary 40K story of all time! That being said... This storm is definitely going to cause a big delay. Don't worry I've got a safe place to go but we've had to spend every minute securing the house and the studio so we're gonna be riding it out in said safe location.

If you're on FL's West coast take this one seriously. Wherever it lands it's gonna do serious damage and bring deadly storm surge. Have a plan and take advantage of the next 24 hours. If you're called to evacuate, don't chance it!

It gives me so many nostalgic flash backs to when I first got into this franchise when I was a kid. We all have to start our lore journey somewhere!

I have received approximately 1 million requests to make a part 2 to my lord of excess video (LINK: https://youtu.be/OJpQl3qrPKI?si=Gk94I... ) where we cover the second half of the novel. I'm here to let you know that is definitely coming! I was not anticipating the video to do as well as it did and for so many people to want to know what happens next so I had a few other videos in the pipeworks I had to get through first. I've got one more big video (an ultramarines deep dive to coincide with the release of Space Marine 2) and then I'll get to work on it!



This one's going to take a little bit longer to get out as the first video only covered about 11 chapters whereas the second one will have to cover about 20. So you can roughly anticipate it going live sometime in the next 10 to 14 days. however if you don't want to wait that long you can pick up a copy for yourself! I highly recommend the audio version as the narration is fantastic.

if you haven't started reading the novels yet, I highly encourage you to do so they are great and you don't have to worry about picking the perfect starting point. just grab one based on a character or faction you enjoy and dive on in! Warhammer books are like comic books. you don't have to start with Batman number 1 to start reading Batman comics. it's the same with blood angels, eldar, or any other 40K faction.

New Faction Deep dive coming soon! Should be up in a few days. Which of the 6 major assassin temples is your favorite and why? I was always a Culexus man myself until we got more insight into the Venenum and Vanus temples and more and more I'm finding those 2 super intriguing.
