Traveling through space and sounds.

I can't believe it's been 10 YEARS since I posted this video! Looking back, it's moderately embarrassing (bangs, shirt, overall personality lol) but I'm still proud of what it was able to do. This was definitely one of the highlights of my time on Youtube and I'm so grateful for all the love on it! Sending anyone who's reading this, a big hug! I love you.

Hi everyone! If any of you saw my last video or follow me on my other social media accounts you’ll know that a few days ago I released a new original song called “Lifeline”.

Putting “Lifeline” out has been a nerve-wracking but amazing experience. Over the past 2 years, I took some time away from releasing music to enroll in and focus on school, and to find my identity beyond the version of myself that I had created on YouTube. Ever since I was 15 years old, I measured so much of my self-worth by how I thought my music career was going. This came with great moments of validation and personal achievements as my YouTube channel grew but it also came with a lot of emptiness and disappointment as I felt the connection with my audience start to slip away.

I made a conscious decision to spend more time developing my in-person relationships and to broaden my skills and interests. While making music has always been my biggest passion, it has brought me a lot of peace to know that I can stand alone without it, as a complete person.

Releasing a new song felt intimidating because I had no idea who would listen. I’m in a completely different place, personally and professionally, than I had ever been before. I want to say a huge THANK YOU to anyone who has listened, commented on, or shared the song. Especially as an independent artist, these things are incredibly helpful. I will stop rambling now but just wanted to say I’m feeling really grateful. Thank you.
