Dental Lyfe Studio - Your Dental Home

7 Years of Grit, Growth & Gratitude! 💪🏾🦷❤️

Seven years ago, I started dental school—excited yet overwhelmed. The long nights, tough coursework, and financial stress tested me, but my passion for dentistry kept me going!

My journey began in 2010 as a Dental Assistant & Lab Technician. A painful experience translating for my mom at the dentist sparked my mission: to provide compassionate care for immigrant families. I told her, “One day, I’ll be your dentist.” That promise fueled every step forward.

In 2022, I proudly earned my DMD & MPH from A.T. Still University (ATSU-ASDOH). Right after, I took a leap of faith and opened @DentalLyfeStudio—a family-owned private dental practice in Norco, CA, built to deliver affordable, compassionate care. WE ARE YOUR DENTAL HOME! 🏠🦷

Today, I celebrate every sacrifice, risk, and breakthrough that shaped this journey. To anyone chasing their dreams: Bet on yourself. Push forward. Every challenge is a stepping stone to success.

Hard Work, WORKS❤️15-HOUR SHIFT🦷💪🏾🙏🏾
Being a small business owner and an entrepreneur is not an easy task! @DentalLyfeStudio, I am the first person to arrive and the last person to leave! Yesterday, was a crazy but productive day! We started with two root canals & crowns @ 6:00AM and ended with three surgical extensions and bone graft @ 9:30PM!
Today, I was once again first the person at the office @ 6:00AM to get the office supplies ordered for the month! Yes, I’m exhausted. Yes, there’s obstacle. Yes, I’m a protectionist! Yes, it’s fun! And yes, I love what I do, because I do it all - I love managing the business side of things as much as I love the clinical aspects! My passion for this thing called DENTISTRY is unwavering, a normal person would have quit by now! 😂💪🏾
“I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has had to overcome while trying to succeed.” – Booker T. Washington

So, 20 years ago, the child that is now Dr. Sameh Soliman came to the US with an #AmericanDream … now we livin’ mama! 🥂
.
Today, March 6, 2024, is a special day because it marks my second year celebrating National Dentist Day, as a Dentist & Practice Owner! It is also the 20th Anniversary of immigrating from Egypt to America! These also happen to be during the Dental Assistants Recognition Week #DARW (March 3-9, 2024), something that means a lot to me because of my humble beginnings. If you know me & have followed my journey closely, you know how long this dental journey has been! You know how much failure, persistence, perseverance, passion, sacrifice & love I have for this amazing profession! ❤️
.
1️⃣𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤 - is today, standing in my own office living out my best life, 𝐌𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐲𝐟𝐞! I’m truly blessed to be where I am today, living out my American Dream, helping my patients live healthier lives!
2️⃣𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤 - was in 2010, at my Dental Assisting ROP program taking learning to take x-rays. This was the start of my dental journey as a dental assistant. Today, I get to teach and train pre-dental students x-rays.
.
💝Being a Dental Assistant & a Lab Technician before becoming a Dentist, allows me to see things differently (than your average dentist) & appreciate what these wonderful & talented teammates do to make my practice run smoothly. Throughout all of my failures, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to carry these 14 years of unique experiences with grace & joy! Which is why I love sharing my knowledge through experience with younger students to #PayItForward! Now, here’s to this new chapter of my Lyfe, as I love the serving aspects of dentistry which allow me to bring happiness & confidence to others - it’s empowering for both, my patients & I. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT ALONG MY JOURNEY! 🇺🇸🥰
