Hello!! My name is Chelsea Nicholls, I am thirty years old and I live in Oxfordshire in the UK with my partner (James) of 8 years. We have a three year old rescue dog called Poppy. After 4 years of unexplained infertility, our first round of ivf was a success and we are now first time parents to our daughter Freya who was born in May 2025. I have a full time job but am currently on maternity leave until April 2026. Welcome to my lifestyle and motherhood channel where I aim to upload every Sunday. I am doing this because I want to build my own little community on this platform who I can hopefully relate to in some way. Please say hello in either the comment section of my videos/vlogs or on Instagram!!

🎄✨ Sitting up just in time for Christmas ✨🎄

Freya sat by the tree with her very first Christmas Eve box — and for the first time ever, she stayed sitting up all by herself (for more than 2 seconds 😆👏🏻). Best Christmas gift we could’ve asked for 💕🎁

Breakfast with Santa 🥞🎅🏻

Freya’s first Breakfast with Santa at our local Harvester and honestly.. what a morning 🤍
Seven month old Freya was happy enough sitting on Santa’s lap (pancakes = hard no ❌🥞) but apple juice from mummy’s glass? Absolutely yes please 🍎🧃 just a few sneaky sips 😉

Everything was going great until.. an elf appeared 🧝🏻‍♀️ One of the waitresses was dressed as an elf and Freya could not take her eyes off her. Full fixation, intense staring 👀
Then out came the bottom lip and she was this close to crying 🤏🏻😢

And before anyone wonders — yes, we knew who Santa was, he was DBS checked, and we were literally right there the whole time. 🩷

✨🎄 Freya’s First Christmas Under the 8-Gift Rule! 🎄✨

Our baby girl’s very first Christmas (she’ll be 7 months old!) and we wanted to keep things a little more minimal this year.. because let’s be honest, I cannot be trusted with spending when it comes to her 😅💕

So we followed the 8 Gift Rule: something you want, something you need, something to wear, something to read, something used, something made, something to do, something to play.

And honestly.. it made choosing her gifts SO much more meaningful 🥹

Here’s what we got our little Freya 🎀:

🧸 1 & 2 — Something You Want
She loves playtime but only had a playmat, O-balls and rattles, so we picked some lovely toys from vertbaudet:
• Little Dutch pop-up animals — £23.95
• Little Dutch pounding bench — £14.95
• Little Dutch spiral tower — £22
• Mushie stacking toys — £34.99

🛁 3 — Something You Need
• Angelcare bath seat — £23.99 (Amazon)

👗 4 — Something to Wear
• White jumper with bows + white flare leggings with black dots — £12.50 (F&F Tesco)

📚 5 — Something to Read
• See, Touch, Feel book — £7.81 (Amazon)

♻️ 6 & 7 — Something Used
A charity-shop win!
• Little Dutch abacus — £4 (usually around £15)
• Guess How Much I Love You wooden blocks — £2 (usually around £20)

🧶 8 — Something Made
• Hand-crocheted cardigan with geese 🪿💚 from LittleLambesBlankets on Etsy — £38 (size 6–9M for spring duck-feeding dates 😍)

🎟️ 9 — Something To Do
• Fairytale Farm voucher — £30 (for the three of us!)

💫 10 — Something To Play
• Inspire My Play sensory play cards — £14.99 (Amazon)

💸 Total spent: £229.14
Split between me & James = £114.57 each 🙌🏻💖

🦌❄️ Just feeding Blizzard & Storm like it was the most normal Sunday ever.. 😅💫

Freya LOVED meeting the reindeers and watching me feed them Lichen (their fave snack apparently 😍).

✨🎄 Family photo: Christmas card READY 💌✨

Back on the festive bench — tartan blanket, wreath, lampposts and all the cosy Christmas vibes — but this time with the whole squad! 🎅🏻
Freya stealing the show (as always), and us just trying to keep up with her cuteness. 😅💖
Nothing better than matching smiles in the most magical Christmas backdrop ever. 💫
