On 3rd April, 2026 the blessed occasion of Good Friday the faithful devotees of St. Teresa's Church, Moulali gathered in the morning at 6 o'clock for the Station of the Cross in the streets to be of the painful journey of Jesus into Calvary.
On the blessed and sacred occasion of Maundy Thursday, 2nd April 2026, St. Teresa’s Church, Moulali prayerfully and joyfully celebrated the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 6:00 p.m. in Bengali, presided over by His Grace Archbishop Elias Frank.
The parish community warmly welcomed His Grace with a floral bouquet as a heartfelt gesture of love and gratitude, marking the beginning of a deeply spiritual celebration.
During the Holy Mass, the faithful were drawn into the profound mystery of Christ’s love through the commemoration of the Last Supper — the institution of the Holy Eucharist and the priesthood. The sacred rite of the Washing of the Feet, performed by His Grace, beautifully reflected Jesus’ humility and commandment to serve one another in love, as He washed the feet of the twelve Apostles.
This grace-filled celebration invited all present to reflect on the true meaning of discipleship — to love, to serve, and to give of ourselves selflessly. May the spirit of Maundy Thursday inspire us to walk in humility, deepen our faith, and live out Christ’s message of love in our daily lives.
On 29th March, 2026 The Catholic Association of Bengal CAB unit of St. Teresa's Church has organised Blood donation Camp 2026 on the blessed occasion of Palm Sunday, to help the needy people.
On 29th March, 2026 St. Teresa's Church, Moulali joyfully celebrated the blessed and scared occasion of Palm Sunday. In the Catholic tradition this day is mark the triumphant entry of our Lord Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, where people welcomed him with Palm branches and sang "Hosanna the son of David".
It is also our spiritual entry into the holy week of this Lenten season. A week of pray, reflection, love and sacrifice which God has done for us.
With hearts set on a sacred journey, St. Teresa's Youth, Kolkata undertook a meaningful Walking Lenten Pilgrimage to the Carmelite Chapel at Outram Street on 22nd March 2026, following the 9:15 a.m. Holy Mass.
United in faith and devotion, the Youth prayerfully recited the Holy Rosary within the peaceful walls of the chapel, offering their intentions and reflections during this blessed Lenten season. The pilgrimage concluded with joyful moments of togetherness, captured in a memorable photograph, and shared over light refreshments.
On 25th January, 2026 a Unity Octave prayer service was held at St. Teresa's Church, Moulali, Kolkata at 7:15 p.m. in the evening.
Pastors from Church of North India (CNI) churches and our Catholic priests from different parishes of our Archdiocese participated in this prayer service
