Something I shared with Epic about the Power Rating changes:
Talking to the average player it seems like overall morale for STW is very diminished. Excitement for the game has dropped and I think it's due to a simple reason!
The Power Rating changes lowered everybody's level by at least 1.
To us end game players you took our 3+ year grind and said "now supercharge 5 supports heroes too" and it feels bad. 25 Hero Superchargers adds another year or 2 to the grind.
To new players their levels mostly dropped due to some part of the changes.
You guys simplified Research by implementing it into Account Level... but overcomplicated the system by factoring support heroes and backpack weapons.
My (hopefully) simple suggestion is to tweak the Power Rating formula to *raise* everyone's level by 1 or 2. This would give a positive spin on the changes.
My other suggestion is to only factor the power level of your Commander hero. This would continue to incentivize supercharging your Commander without the insane grind of doing every support hero as well.
