1st is Houjicha, a roasted green tea from Japan. Who ever thought that roasted green tea even existed?! We first tried this tea at the tea farm during our travels through the Japanese countryside. We were blown away with how delicious this tea is. Toasted, sweet and savory all in a warm cup of Japanese tea is such a nice experience to share with any tea lover

2nd is Nectar, a coffee cherry tea made from the coffee fruit from our friends here in Panama. Very few people have tried this tea before but anytime we have shared it with someone, they are in love. It's so delicious, tasting like pomegranate and brown sugar. Nectar is sweet and so comforting to sip on while sitting around the house on a cold winter night.

3rd is the iconic Matcha, one of the most sought after teas in the world that we searched high and low to find the absolute best that we possibly could. D:Matcha grows their tea organically but also only uses the first flush of tea leaves, making for the absolute best tasting matcha we have ever had. This tea is sweet and savory and can be enjoyed straight up or mixed with your favorite milk to make a Matcha Latte.

I can’t even begin to explain to you guys our process when taking on a sponsor. We receive offers daily from countless nutritional powders, VPN companies, video game apps, off grid systems… and we say no to 95% of them.

As you guys know, we take on very few sponsors (maybe 1-2 a month). At the same time we understand the importance of sponsors as it allows us to make the videos we want while paying fair wages to all those working with us on Lola’s Farm.


We have 2 rules when taking on a sponsor
1. Is it something we actually use that improves the quality of our life
2. Does the company have values that we stand behind


When Anker reached out to us, we first did extensive research on the brand and the quality of their products. We talked with people who have used their products before (what up @LYSS1 and @leboy ) to understand what their first hand experience was like. Then we tested the unit for ourselves…


I’ll try not to be hyperbolic but the Solix F3800 changed our lives immediately. Our big problem with having an underpowered airstream was now resolved by plugging it in directly to the 220v port on the F3800 increasing our electrical capacity by 300%. Then we installed the Anker Home Power Panel at our coffee shop which allowed us to tie the F3800 directly into the electrical system to serve as a power backup. Power outages have cost our business thousands of dollars but the 6,000 watts that the F3800 can put out can power our whole coffee shop and keep us open when nobody else is.

This has been one of the most challenging weeks here in Panama on Lola’s farm. We’ve been going nonstop, waking up early and working late into the night on fixing a massive mistake we made. Well, we’re extremely happy to report that last night at 1 am we finally finished.

We’re tired…

Today we’re working on putting the whole story together. We’re looking forward to sharing it all with you Sunday morning over a cup of Morning Movement ;)
