Recently we had a friendsgiving in Mexico City cooked by our friend and professional chef Ron. He makes some of the best food I've ever eaten and the night was spent with good vibes and good friends. Couple of the guys shared their dating experience in Mexico City and offer some great tips for guys looking to continue improving their dating life.
If you're someone looking to build a network here in Mexico City, you won't have to look far. The expat community here is huge and growing fast. We look forward to meeting you!
Happy thanksgiving everyone! Lot's to be grateful for this year and enjoy the time with friends and family. Holiday's are also a great time to reflect on what you feel might be missing and strategize on what actions to take this next year to make your goals happen. Whether it's dating, business, finances or health, all are valid and can be improved upon.
Last weekend we got a group of friends and went bowling in Polanco. Awesome night with good friends and good vibes. This is something I was missing when living in the states. For me it was all about work and I was becoming quite the hermit. In Mexico City I was finally able to find people that were like minded, successful, also had a fulfilling dating life and were overall happier.
A big question to ask yourself is what is staying where you’re at costing you? Maybe you have a great life in the states already and that’s awesome, but if not, how might potentially making a move change your life?
These are questions I asked myself 2.5 years ago before I finally left Wisconsin to travel to Poland. There my life felt alive again and through a work opportunity with Jaren, the other founder of Mexpat, I ended up in Mexico City.
Making that one decision to sell everything I own, apartment, car, bringing, pack up a suitcase and take a leap of faith is a decision I look back on now in awe and gratitude.
Once a week a bunch of us get together for good food and to discuss business. Check out our recent dinner at Chambao in Polanco and also a couple interviews from fellow entrepreneurs on their experience in Mexico City.
