Traditionally, the Sun in Sagittarius is the time of year where the nights creep up on the days – unless you’re in the Southern Hemisphere like myself, then the reverse is true.
Alas, the Sun’s time in the mutable fire sign reminds us that even though light levels change, it is up to each of us to carry our light in an upward and inspired way.
This year has been a year of growth, healing and transformation. As our external world continues to rapidly change, we have to change with it. This starts with an inner journey as symbolised by Jupiter in Cancer.
Being Jupiter ruled, Sagittarius is the time for gratitude and extending outwards. While we don’t have a Thanksgiving holiday in Australia, I’d like to extend my sincere thanks to you.

This month definitely looks a lot more pleasant than previous months.
A cleansing and a reorientation of values and relationships (Venus conjunct South Node,) followed by an Aries Full Moon spotlights clarity of action and honest conversations.
Once that stuff is out of the way, Venus will bring some sweet relief in Libra.
Pluto stations direct this month.
Not generally the biggest of deals but this time it brings to completion the first Pluto in Aquarius retrograde that doesn't go back into Capricorn.
On the larger scale of things, I think it is a bigger deal this time.
We may have a bigger concept of what our Aquarius house is all about and how that will transform over the next 20 years.
Neptune returns to Pisces, sitting at 29 degrees until late January.
Coupled with the energy of October, it feels like a chance to recommit to a dream or decide that is may be time to let it go.

In my professional, cutting edge and highly technical astrological opinion, these eclipses are not mucking around! The energy is palpable. The flame has never been so close to the tinder box. Tempers are flared. Hearts are heavy. Fingers point. Yet those who point the finger have three pointed back at them.
It’s so easy, lustful and ego-driven to add fuel to the fire. To think you know who the enemy is. To associate blame while relieving yourself from guilt. We’ve all done it. We’ve all unfollowed someone online just because their opinion was different. We’ve all thought or spoke negatively of someone rather than trying to understand them through dialogue.
We’ve all put up and shut up in order to be accepted. We’ve all kept our lips sealed to avoid the bully or the fury of the mob. Or worse, we spoke only to appease or pacify the bully because we were too gutless to stand for what is honest, right and true.
The turning point has been reached. We are in the eclipse portal and an approaching the Libra Equinox. The High Holy Day’s are near. A period of purification and judgement. A time to look within and seek assistance in how to be a better and more prominent vessel of divine light.
A lot is changing in September and a lot is staying the same.
September begins the planetary parade where the sky's outer planets Saturn, Neptune and Uranus all begin the process of re-entering the signs they were in as 2025 began.
We are going back to the beginning.
September 1st - Saturn retrograde back into Pisces.
September 6th - Uranus stations retrograde in Gemini (not done in over 80 years) and will be back in Taurus November 9.
September 15th - Neptune gets back to 0 Aries and will arrive back in Pisces October 23.
So if you've got to this point in the year and wondered where the time went, then at least at the astrological level, you get to start over.
What might you start over?
In September and until February 14 you'll get the chance to recommit to a dream.
Everyone who said it couldn't be done - including yourself.
Everyone who said your obstacles couldn't be won - including yourself.
You get a second chance.
Are you ready to go all in?
But - you can't go back being the former you. You have to change. Let the old part of you die.
Old ways won't open new doors and the upcoming eclipses will swing wide those doors, but you have to be ready.
Ready to step into new realities.
The ones you dreamed of and not the ones you were told you can have.
And not the ones you thought were available - but the ones you WANT!
