The mission of Partners is to empower youth and community members to achieve their full potential through mentoring, prevention education, and strategic partnership.

Mentoring is a well documented prevention strategy for positive youth development. Consistent with national research behind mentoring, we know that our mentoring programs work! Our evaluation results show that after just one year in our mentoring program, our youth have:

- Increased self-esteem and self-confidence
- Increased academic achievement
- Less delinquent behavior and drug use
- Stronger bonds with adults other than their parents
- Increased ability to plan for their future
