Hello Friends,
Here are some important updates about Tirupati Balaji Darsha for February month.

1) Special Entry Darshan (Rs.300) Tickets for the month of February-2022 will be available for booking w.e.f. 28.01.2022 09:00 AM.

2) Slotted Sarva Darshan (Free) tokens for the month of February-2022 will be available for booking w.e.f. 29.01.2022 09:00 AM.

3) You should have 2 dose covid certificate OR negative RTPCR test report of recent 48hrs.

4) Only traditional wear is allowed at temple. Jean's pant not allowed.

5) Online Darshan pass is mandatory to reach Tirupati temple.

6) Carry valid Government Id proof with you for Darshan.

Kindly be ready with all the necessary booking details with you to book February month darshan pass.

Tirupati Balaji by srivarimettu foot path.. Today we stepped 2388 steps to reach to Tirumala..
We have startee our journey at 3:30 PM and reached by 6:30 PM..

This is the footpath used by lord Srinivasa/Venkateswara Swamy/Balaji/Govinda himself . Afterwards the famous Annamayya also used this route only to go to Tirumala from Tirupati. But somehow the other footpath at Alipiri became famous and all the traditional pilgrims are using the Alipiri footpath only which consists nearly 4000 steps. Now the TTD (Tirumala tirupati Devasthanam) has developed this original footpath which starts from srinivasamangapuram.
This footpath consists 2388 steps only. At 1200th step TTD has established a counter to issue Darshan Tokens for pedistrians. The entire route is fully covered. There is a water tap for every 25 steps. Several Toilets are also constructed all through the footpath. All through the way, there is facility to sit and relax on both sides of the steps. As this footpath is getting momentum, some vendors are also coming to the entire footpath.
It is observed that several devotees are adding haldi, kumkum and lighting camphor at each and every step,.which shows the size of devotion to god In comparision with Alipiri Footpath this is convenient, short and above all this is the original route.
The piligrims can deposit their luggage at free of cost in Vishnu Nivas near Railway Station and Busstand, clearly informing the footpath which they want to use so that the luggage will be sent to Tirumala and can take deliver at the point near the last step.
